It's the last week of May, and we are about one-third of the way through the MLB season. It sounds like a lot, but the Dog Days of Summer hit hard, and the fun has just begun; each team still has over 100 games left to play.

In the world of fantasy baseball, the grind never stops. The experts at FantasySP got together to help you prepare. Morgan Rode and Daniel Hepner answered five questions in advance of the final week of May.

Use the FantasySP Trade Value Chart and Trade Analyzer all season when assessing fantasy baseball trades. Also be sure to check out the new “Ask Fantasy Expert” tool inside the analyzer.

1. Give us a team with good matchups this week.

Daniel: I've been talking about the Cubs in this spot over the past few weeks because of a string of good matchups. Chicago has taken advantage, too, going 9-3 against the Marlins, White Sox, and Reds. The good times could keep on rolling, as the Cubs play three games apiece against the Rockies and Reds, with both series taking place at Wrigley Field.

Morgan: The Mets take on the White Sox and Rockies this week, so several players could be in for big fantasy outings. I also like some Cardinals, as they face the Orioles and Rangers this week.

Arizona also has some favorable matchups, taking on Pittsburgh and Washington. San Diego is another team with favorable matchups, taking on Miami and Pittsburgh.

2. How about a few offensive players in line for a possible big week who might be fantasy free agents?

Daniel: Let's stick with the Cubs. The games against Colorado to start the week are great matchups. Guys who have been in the lineup and are available in a lot of fantasy leagues include first baseman Michael Busch, infielder Matt Shaw, and catchers Carson Kelly and Miguel Amaya.

Morgan: I think several Rays could be in for big weeks. Chandler Simpson, Yandy Diaz, Brandon Lowe, Junior Caminero, Jonathan Aranda and Josh Lowe all have pretty solid projections this week.

I also like some Cardinals. Ivan Herrera, Lars Nootbaar, Mason Winn and Nolan Arenado have some stong projections for the week.

3. Do you have any pitchers who have a start or two against a weak offensive team?

Daniel: The Mets play against the White Sox and Rockies, with both series coming at home. Clay Holmes is likely to start against both teams, and while he's owned in a lot of leagues, he does have a little availability. Tylor Megill, Griffin Canning, and David Peterson are others who might be free agents in your league.

The Cardinals play against the Orioles and Rangers, two more poor offensive teams. Erick Fedde is in line to start against both teams, while Andre Pallante, Miles Mikolas, and Matthew Liberatore will probably each make one start and are probably available.

Morgan: I like Jameon Taillon against the Rockies and Reds this week. Ryne Nelson takes on the Pirates and Nationals, so he should be a good option twice.

4. Are there any young players making a splash or who just arrived in the big leagues who owners should know?

Daniel: I like focusing on young pitchers. Ben Brown of the Cubs has had rough results (6.39 ERA this year) but he does high-level strikeout work, and he's likely to see better results moving forward. With Chicago still in the midst of a great stretch of matchups, Brown is someone to bet on in deep leagues or as a streamer.

Morgan: Hyeseong Kim, Matthew Lugo, Cade Horton and Marcelo Mayer have all made their MLB debuts this month. Each has produced some solid results so far, and could be in line for good runs as fantasy assets.

5. Give us a piece of advice to take with us for the week.

Daniel: We're far enough into the season to really believe in what we're seeing, so start looking at where you have weaknesses on your roster and how you might be able to fix them. It can be easy to overreact early in the season, but this is more of a sensible time to drop that guy you've been holding onto or make the trade someone is bugging you about.

Morgan: If your fantasy season hasn't started really well, don't panic. There's still about two-thirds of the season to go, and you definitely can turn your fortunes around in short order. Try to make some trades, or play the waiver wire to jumpstart your season.
