Daniel Jones | Fantasy Outlook

Daniel Jones at Pittsburgh — Low-Scoring Environment Dampens Fantasy Appeal

Jones remains the starter under center for Indianapolis as they head to Pittsburgh, but mounting ball-security struggles have become a glaring concern after committing seven turnovers through his first four games. While head coach Shane Steichen continues to publicly back him, the offense enters this road tilt without wideout Alec Pierce, though Keenan Allen was able to log a full practice.

This week sets up as a defensive grind with a low 42-point over/under, severely capping Jones' ceiling. Our weekly projection lands at 206 passing yards, 1.2 passing touchdowns, and 12.9 fantasy points against a tough Pittsburgh defense. With his roster rate down to 20% and start rate at just 3%, fantasy managers should keep him firmly on benches in standard leagues.
