Michael Mayer vs. BUF: Volatile Streaming Option in High-Scoring Matchup

Michael Mayer operates as the secondary tight end in Las Vegas behind Brock Bowers, keeping his weekly opportunity highly erratic. Following an eight-reception surge against Kansas City two weeks ago, Mayer plummeted to just one target in Week 5, highlighting the fragile fantasy floor that comes with sharing snaps behind an elite teammate.

Facing Buffalo in an expected shootout at home, the Raiders enter as 4.5-point underdogs in a projected negative game script that should encourage extra passing volume from Kirk Cousins. Our projections slate Mayer for around 3 receptions and 28 yards (7.1 fantasy points), keeping him strictly as a touchdown-dependent, deep-league streaming consideration.
