Germie Bernard | Fantasy Outlook

Germie Bernard at Tampa Bay — Surging Opportunity in Depleted Receiving Corps

With Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson sidelined, Bernard has rapidly emerged in Pittsburgh's passing attack. The rookie capitalized on an expanded role last week, hauling in six of nine targets for 80 yards while displaying strong chemistry with Aaron Rodgers. With DK Metcalf also questionable due to an illness, Bernard should step into a prominent perimeter role once again.

Fantasy managers have taken notice, vaulting his roster percentage up to 75% this week. Our weekly projection slots him for 3.5 receptions, 40 receiving yards, and 9.0 fantasy points against Tampa Bay. While the matchup carries a modest scoring total, his recent target volume makes him a worthy Flex/Stream play with upside if he absorbs extra looks.
