Rico Dowdle | Fantasy Outlook

Rico Dowdle trending toward inactive against the Colts

Dowdle is officially listed as questionable with a lingering toe injury, but reports indicate he is unlikely to suit up against Indianapolis. After dislocating his toe earlier this season, his practice participation remained limited. Operating as Pittsburgh's change-of-pace back behind Jaylen Warren, his status will be determined in pre-game warmups, so fantasy managers should check back before kickoff for final confirmation.

With his start rate down to just 5%, he belongs firmly on fantasy benches. Even if active, our models project a modest 6.4 fantasy points on around 10 carries and 33 rushing yards. Given the re-injury danger and low-scoring matchup environment, Dowdle carries far too much volatility to consider starting.
