Low-Cost Tight End Target Offers Sneaky Bounce-Back Value in Pittsburgh's Offense

Freiermuth enters the year listed behind Darnell Washington on Pittsburgh's depth chart, but our projections and his track record suggest he will function as the primary pass-catching tight end. With a proven history of fantasy viability, including a 505-yard, five-touchdown effort last year, his chemistry in an Aaron Rodgers-led passing attack remains highly promising.

In draft circles, Freiermuth's ADP has seen extreme volatility, fluctuating from the mid-140s down to the 250s before stabilizing around 214. At this late-round cost in 1.0 PPR formats, he is emerging as a massive value steal. Our models project a highly efficient bounce-back, forecasting 51 receptions for 524 yards and four touchdowns.

Although currently rostered in just seven percent of leagues, Freiermuth offers a reliable weekly floor that easily outpaces his near-free draft cost. If he can secure a heavier share of red-zone targets, he possesses comfortable TE1 upside for managers who choose to wait on the position.
