McLean continues to thrive as the anchor of the Mets' rotation, posting a crisp 3.09 ERA with 34 strikeouts across 29.1 innings over his last 30 days. He rebounded sharply in his last outing with six innings of one-run ball, providing stability for a 56-69 New York squad currently riding a three-game winning streak. Despite several key injuries across the roster, McLean has consistently delivered quality outings every fifth day.
