He continues to see heavy volume as the everyday catcher and primary backup at designated hitter, a role that remains secure even as the team deals with injuries to key hitters like Brent Rooker and Zack Gelof.

Under the hood, the long-term outlook remains bright despite the recent .192 average over the last month.
