Sean Manaea's resurgence provides reliable strikeout production for fantasy managers

Manaea has found his groove as a rotation staple for the Mets, logging a 3.30 ERA with 25 strikeouts over 19.1 innings in his last three outings. His velocity has ticked back up toward 93 mph, highlighted by an 11-strikeout gem earlier this month. Even with New York sitting in fifth place in the NL East at 56-69 despite a three-game win streak, Manaea has firmly solidified his starting role.

After early-season struggles and a brief bullpen stint, his 3.57 ERA over the last 30 days is supported by a strong strikeout rate near 10 punchouts per nine innings. The restored velocity and sharp slider confirm this turnaround is sustainable rather than a fluke, bringing him back toward his peak form. While his 4.60 season ERA still reflects a rocky start, our projections view him as an effective mid-rotation fantasy asset.

Manaea is scheduled for a single start on Friday on the road against the White Sox. Though he faces a challenging mound opponent in Sean Burke and his 3.20 ERA, Manaea's recent form and missing bats give him high upside. Start.
