Five-category breakout star CJ Abrams poised to shatter draft-day expectations

CJ Abrams enters the season as the undisputed catalyst and primary shortstop for Washington. Still only 25 years old, the former top prospect has refined his aggressive plate approach, turning raw tools into high-impact production at the top of the lineup. With secure everyday playing time and a guaranteed spot as the team's leadoff hitter, Abrams is in a prime position to build on his previous campaign and secure his status as a foundational fantasy asset.

From a category standpoint, Abrams offers a rare and enticing blend of power and speed. Our models project him to compile 138 hits, 70 runs, 15 home runs, and 25 stolen bases over 550 at-bats. While his career baseline suggests a neutral .251 batting average and .309 on-base percentage, his elite speed keeps his floor remarkably high, while any continued step forward in his contact rate could push him into elite, game-changing territory for fantasy managers.
