That stumble pushed his ERA over his last 14 days to 7.30 with a 2.30 WHIP across 7.4 frames. With Detroit's rotation thinned by injuries to Justin Verlander and Jack Flaherty, Melton remains firmly entrenched as a starting rotation regular.
