Dingler is asserting himself as the premier offensive force at catcher, slashing .314 with six home runs and 21 RBI over his last 30 days. As the everyday backstop for a fourth-place Tigers squad currently riding a three-game win streak, he has combined 2025 Gold Glove defense with elite production that leads all catchers in fWAR. His consistent role in the heart of the order remains secure as he continues to match power milestones last seen in Detroit during Miguel Cabrera’s 2013 MVP campaign.

While our preseason models initially projected a modest .240 average and 14 home runs, Dingler has already shattered those expectations with 19 homers and a .267 average through 80 games.
