Franklin Arias’ power surge at Double-A makes him the top stash candidate for the injury-depleted Red Sox.

Arias is currently dismantling Double-A pitching, boasting 17 home runs and an elite 1.021 OPS for Portland. The fifth-place Red Sox (40-48) are riding a three-game win streak but remain desperate for middle-infield help with Trevor Story, Marcelo Mayer, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa all currently on the injured list. While Arias is not yet on the active roster, his scorching form suggests the top-ranked prospect is nearing a major league debut.

His power surge is a revelation, as his 17 homers have already more than doubled his 2025 production in significantly fewer games.
