Aaron Ashby dominates in high-leverage spots for the first-place Brewers

Ashby has been virtually untouchable lately, posting a pristine 0.67 ERA with 21 strikeouts over 13.1 innings across his past 30 days. With Abner Uribe sidelined by a forearm strain, the division-leading Brewers lean heavily on Ashby as their premier high-leverage setup weapon.

His season has been historic for a reliever, compiling 13 wins and 104 strikeouts in 68 innings to shatter our initial projections. While an elevated season WHIP flags occasional control issues, his blistering 13.8 K/9 strikeout rate and recent suppression of traffic confirm his elite run prevention is legitimate.
