Gavin Williams is set for a highly lucrative two-start week at home.

Gavin Williams continues to pitch brilliantly for the first-place Guardians (37-30), sporting a stellar 3.08 ERA and 1.03 WHIP with 34 strikeouts over his last 30 days. Slotting in as a mid-rotation staple for Cleveland, the young right-hander has solidified his role in the starting staff with dominant, high-strikeout performances.

While our season projection expected a modest 3.84 ERA and 1.30 WHIP, Williams's actual 3.24 ERA and elite 1.08 WHIP across 13 starts suggest he is carrying over the high-strikeout upside from his superb 2025 campaign. The underlying command gains are real, as his 3.76 strikeout-to-walk ratio shows he has moved past his early-career control hiccups.

Fantasy managers benefit from a premier two-start week as Williams takes the mound at home on June 8 against the Yankees and June 14 against the Tigers. Facing Will Warren (3.34 ERA) and Troy Melton (1.74 ERA) puts him in highly winnable matchups, making him an absolute must-play. Verdict: Start.
