Foster Griffin looks to maintain momentum for the surging Guardians in a favorable weekend matchup

Griffin has found his footing with Cleveland, pitching to a sharp 2.45 ERA and 10 strikeouts across 11 innings in his last two outings. Acquired at the trade deadline, the veteran southpaw has solidified his place in the rotation for a second-place Guardians team riding an impressive seven-game winning streak.

Although he navigated brief turbulence with a 5.38 ERA over the past month, Griffin's stellar 15-4 record and 3.23 ERA across 147.2 innings prove his campaign is no fluke. Our projections expect his strong command and 1.14 WHIP to keep him viable as a reliable rotation stabilizer down the stretch.
