Hunter Gaddis Shines in High-Leverage Setup Role for First-Place Guardians
Gaddis has been absolutely sensational over the last two weeks, posting a pristine 0.00 ERA, a 0.78 WHIP, and six strikeouts across his last five appearances. Operating as a primary setup option for the first-place Guardians, who currently boast a two-game winning streak, his high-leverage role is fully secure with teammate Erik Sabrowski on the injured list.
Although his cumulative 4.50 ERA and 1.71 WHIP reflect a rocky start to the campaign, his recent elite stretch looks like a return to his brilliant 2024 form.
