Grant Holmes looks to rebound against the White Sox following a brief stumble

Holmes continues to serve as the number two starter in the rotation for the first-place Braves (74-50), taking on added responsibility with Spencer Strider and Reynaldo López on the injured list. Despite getting tagged over 3.2 innings in his last outing, he still carries a respectable 3.55 ERA across his three starts over the last 14 days.

Through 24 appearances this season, Holmes has produced a 3.93 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over 114.1 innings, aligning perfectly with our season projection of a 3.93 ERA. Even though his strikeout rate has settled below a strikeout per inning, his role stability and steady baseline keep him relevant as a dependable high-floor contributor.
