Jeremiah Fears Season Outlook: Sophomore Guard Carving Key Reserve Role

Jeremiah Fears enters his second NBA campaign at just 19 years old, securing a clear backup role in the New Orleans backcourt. Operating as the primary second-unit playmaker behind veteran Dejounte Murray, Fears provides essential depth. Fantasy managers have taken note, steadily driving his roster rate from 27% in September up to 54%.

Our models project Fears for 23.8 fantasy points across 25.2 minutes per game over 76 anticipated appearances. We expect balanced category contributions of 13.8 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game on 43.3% field-goal shooting. Building on an 82-game rookie debut, his durability supports reliable season-long accumulation.

With an ADP around 115, Fears sits in the late-round flyer tier. While high-volume creators like Murray and Zion Williamson keep his primary usage checked, Fears' stable 25-minute role and PG/SG eligibility offer solid bench value in standard 10-to-12 team formats.
