Mullins provides speed and power despite a prolonged batting average slump

Cedric Mullins continues to serve as the everyday center fielder for the first-place Rays, who lead the AL East with a 56-38 record. Despite his secure role in the lineup, his recent production has been a major drag on rosters, evidenced by a dismal .114 batting average over the last 14 days. While he has provided occasional power with two home runs during this stretch, he has only managed four total hits in his last 35 at-bats.
