Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Sunday that he expects Aroldis Chapman (shoulder) to be sidelined for about a month.

Closer Aroldis Chapman was placed on the 10 day disabled list retroactive to Saturday. Chapman is dealing with inflammation in his left shoulder rotator cuff. The New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman said to expect to see Chapman sidelined with the next four weeks.
Chapman had an MRI on Saturday morning that luckily revealed there is no structural damage to his shoulder. The Yankees will take things slowly to give their reliever time to recover.
