Josh Downs at Pittsburgh — High-Volume Slot Outlook on the Road
Downs enters Week 5 healthy and locked into his primary slot role for the Colts. With receiver Alec Pierce sidelined on injured reserve, Downs should continue to see steady volume after commanding 15 targets over his previous two outings. His quick separation over the middle gives the offense a reliable safety valve regardless of rainy outdoor conditions in Pittsburgh.
Our weekly projection tabs Downs for approximately 4.6 receptions and 57 receiving yards on 7.2 targets, yielding 11.9 fantasy points. Currently started in roughly 53% of leagues, Downs provides a stable floor and profiles as a dependable WR3 or flex starter across all PPR leagues.
