Reliable Veteran Target Remains a Premier Option in Kansas City's Passing Game

Entering his 14th NFL season, Travis Kelce remains the undisputed lead tight end for Patrick Mahomes, keeping him central to Kansas City's potent offense alongside wideouts Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy. Despite entering his late thirties, his elite route-running and unmatched chemistry with his quarterback solidify his high-volume role.

Our projections forecast another highly productive campaign for the veteran, expecting 73 receptions, 768 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns on 100 targets. While these numbers represent a step back from his historic career peaks, they still provide an exceptionally high weekly floor at a historically volatile fantasy position.

Draft market momentum shows his ADP briefly spiked near pick 68 in early June before falling back and stabilizing around 109 in July. At this current draft cost, our models view the legendary tight end as an absolute value steal in 1.0 PPR leagues.
