Rookie Red-Zone Weapon Poised to Carve Out Giants WR2 Role

Selected in the third round, Malachi Fields has generated steady buzz throughout camp and is expected to claim the Giants' WR2 role opposite Malik Nabers. With veteran wideouts like Darius Slayton and Darnell Mooney also in the fold, Fields brings a distinct, big-bodied red-zone presence to a developing passing attack quarterbacked by Jaxson Dart.

Our models currently project a conservative rookie campaign of 13 receptions for 158 yards and one touchdown (34.1 fantasy points). However, with Nabers currently managing a knee injury, Fields has a clear path to outperform those baseline marks if his snap share and red-zone involvement expand early in the year.

Draft sentiment has softened slightly from late July when his ADP sat around pick 218, now settling near 265 in PPR formats. While currently rostered in just 8% of leagues, that declining market cost makes him a zero-risk, high-reward stash with legitimate upside if he secures consistent perimeter snaps.
