Buried on Depth Chart After Offseason Backfield Overhaul
After handling 155 carries across 12 games in 2025, Kimani Vidal enters the 2026 campaign facing a much steeper climb for snaps. The Chargers added Omarion Hampton and Keaton Mitchell ahead of him on the depth chart, effectively relegating Vidal to third-string duties and clouding his weekly path to touches.
Our models project a significantly reduced workload for Vidal, estimating 65 rushing attempts for 250 yards and three scores, alongside 12 receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown (61.0 PPR points). Barring a sudden vacancy, his standalone value in standard-sized leagues is virtually non-existent.
