J.J. McCarthy at Washington: Acclimating With the Giants in a Reserve Role

Following his recent trade from Minnesota to New York, McCarthy remains on the bench behind starter Jameis Winston while getting acclimated to his new offensive playbook. While reports suggest the Giants could eventually incorporate specialized packages to capitalize on his athleticism, he is currently operating strictly in a backup capacity.

Our weekly projection anticipates zero fantasy points and zero passing volume against Washington, matching his zero percent fantasy start rate. McCarthy holds no standalone value for standard starting lineups this week, meaning fantasy managers should keep him firmly on the bench or monitor him as a speculative stash in superflex formats.
