Quarterback Battle and Injury Recovery Cloud Atlanta's Passing Game Value

Michael Penix is currently working his way back from a knee injury suffered last season, though he expects to be fully cleared for the start of training camp. He is listed atop the depth chart but faces a major looming competition from Tua Tagovailoa. Head coach Kevin Stefanski plans to split first-team reps intentionally between the two lefties once Penix is officially cleared.

Our projections reflect this uncertainty, forecasting Penix for 1,720 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and six interceptions over a partial campaign. With an ownership rate sitting at just 12%, fantasy managers are taking a wait-and-see approach.
