A New Chapter in San Francisco Offers Top-Tier Target Potential
Mike Evans transitions to San Francisco as the projected top perimeter wideout, headlining a revamped receiving corps alongside Ricky Pearsall and Christian Kirk. With teammate Brandon Aiyuk currently sidelined on the reserve list, Evans is primed to immediately dominate red-zone looks and deep targets for Brock Purdy in this high-powered offense.
Our projections expect a highly productive debut year in the Bay Area, forecasting Evans to secure 64 receptions for 911 yards and 7 touchdowns. Although he is entering his age-33 season and looking to rebound from a shortened 2025 campaign, early reports from OTAs indicate he is in peak physical condition.
His ADP has steadily climbed from the late-60s in May and has stabilized around 59. At this mid-round cost in 1.0 PPR leagues, our models view the veteran as an incredibly safe value steal who provides immediate WR2 stability with double-digit touchdown upside.
