Jake Tonges enters the year operating as the primary backup to George Kittle in San Francisco's high-powered passing attack. After flashing last year with 34 receptions for 293 yards and five touchdowns in nine games, Tonges proved his efficiency. Our models project him to capture a modest role this year, expecting 22 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns.

Looking at draft trends, his ADP briefly spiked into the 140s in early June but has since fell back to 210. This cooling market sentiment is mirrored in his fantasy ownership, which dropped from 21% to 11% over the past month. In PPR formats, he is a late-round flyer or waiver-wire stash rather than a weekly starter.

Unless Kittle misses time, Tonges will struggle to find consistent weekly targets, making him a touchdown-dependent depth option.
