Alejandro Kirk - Toronto Blue Jays
Kirk has risen 2.04% today, and is now rostered in 46.43% of leagues overall.
He had three hits, including a double and a home run, on Tuesday. Kirk had three RBIs and two runs scored as well.
Kirk has a seven-game hitting streak going, and has tallied 12 knocks in that span. He has seven RBIs, four runs scored and five walks in that stretch.
Over 51 games and 197 plate appearances in 2026, Kirk has a .279 average and .355 on-base percentage. The primary catcher has six doubles and home runs among his 48 total knocks, plus 25 RBIs, 14 runs scored, 22 walks and just 23 strikeouts.
He can be a pretty solid fantasy asset when healthy, so it's a bummer he's missed so much time in 2026. Kirk is trending up as the season winds down, and is worth rostering/utilizing in more leagues as a result.
I like him in most deeper leagues right now. I also think he's worth adding in standard leagues, especially if you are looking for some catcher help. Give him some consideration at least, because he's delivered well of late.
Trent Grisham - New York Yankees
Grisham has been added in 2.17% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 61.36%.
He homered among his two hits on Tuesday. Grisham also drove in three runs and scored once. He has five homers over his past eight contests.
In August, Grisham has a .281 average and .305 OBP. He has six homers and five doubles among his 16 total knocks, plus 12 RBIs, nine runs scored, two walks and 15 strikeouts.
He has played in 105 games this season, getting 419 plate appearances. Grisham has a .224 average and .313 OBP, plus 54 RBIs, 61 runs scored, 49 walks, seven stolen bases and 73 strikeouts. Among his 82 total hits, Grisham has 19 doubles, 17 home runs and two triples.
Grisham is performing much better in August than he has all season, and it makes him worth owning in more leagues. He's a very good deep-league fantasy asset at this point, and he could even be tried in some standard leagues again. Keep tabs on his performance and be ready to drop him if he falls off, but utilize him until that point.
Josh Bell - Minnesota Twins
Bell is rostered in 39.09% of leagues - he was at 22.67% back on August 8.
Bell homered among his two hits on Tuesday. He had two RBIs and a run scored as well. He has six hits during a four-game hitting streak, along with four RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and just two strikeouts.
Bell sits with a .258 average and .320 OBP over 122 contests and 495 plate appearances in 2026. He has 116 total hits, including 25 doubles, 17 homers and a triple, plus 76 RBIs, 63 runs scored, 40 walks, a stolen base and 103 punchouts.
If he was eligible at more than first base, he'd likely be owned in a bunch more fantasy leagues. As is, he's a very good deep-league fantasy asset , so I think he's a bit underowned. There's so many 1B options, so you can skip him in a lot of standard leagues.
Roman Anthony - Boston Red Sox
Anthony is up to 74.55% owned as he ramps up and nears a return to the big leagues.
He began a rehab assignment on Tuesday and hit a homer. Hopefully Anthony can keep ramping things up and be back in the big leagues soon.
Anthony has only played in 30 games this season, getting 130 plate appearances so far. He has a .229 average and .354 OBP, plus five RBIs, 12 runs scored, 20 walks, two stolen bases and 33 strikeouts.
He had a .292 average and .396 OBP over 71 games and 303 plate appearances in his first taste of the big leagues in 2025. It's been a bummer to not have him available for many games this season.
With him ramping up, he's worth adding back in more fantasy leagues. Anthony should be owned in all deeper leagues. If he produces more when he's back, expect him to get close to 100% owned in a hurry, so don't wait around if you are looking to add him.
