Reds 8, Marlins 2
Nick Lodolo improved to 9-4 on the season after striking out seven batters over six innings for Cincinnati. He allowed two runs on two hits and three walks. Lodolo has a 3.93 earned run average on the season.
Max Meyer took the loss and fell to 2-2. He allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks over four innings. Meyer struck out two batters.

Hayden Birdsong took the loss, his first of the season. He was tagged for seven runs on five hits and three walks over two innings. He struck out one batter.
Blue Jays 5, Orioles 2
Chris Bassitt got the win and improved to 9-10 for Toronto. He allowed two runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out nine. Bassitt’s ERA is down to 3.95.
Genesis Cabrera earned a hold before Chad Green secured his ninth save.
Albert Suarez started and worked five scoreless innings for Baltimore. He gave up two hits and walks, while striking out six. Suarez has a 3.66 ERA this season.
Burch Smith earned a hold before Gregory Soto was tagged with a blown save and loss after allowing four runs in 1/3 of an inning.
Brewers 10, Braves 0
Colin Rea struck out nine over seven scoreless innings for Milwaukee. He allowed five hits and one walk and now has a 3.38 ERA this season.
Bryce Elder took the loss and slipped to 2-5. He gave up seven runs on eight hits and two walks over 3 2/3 innings, while striking out six.

Sonny Gray improved to 11-6 after pitching the first seven innings for St. Louis. He allowed two runs on four hits and a walk, while striking out six. Gray has his ERA at 3.65.
Andrew Kittredge earned a hold before Ryan Helsley secured his 35th save. Helsley did allow a run.
Jeffrey Springs took the loss after giving up four runs on six hits and three walks over five frames. He struck out three along the way.
Cubs 7, Twins 3
Shota Imanaga earned the win for Chicago after striking out 10 over seven innings. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk and will carry a 3.06 ERA into his next outing.
Pablo Lopez took the loss and is now 10-8 with a 4.74 ERA. He gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk, while striking out a pair.
Astros 4, Rangers 2
Framber Valdez got the win and is now 11-5. The Houston starter allowed two runs on a hit and three walks over 8 2/3 innings. He struck out five along the way.
Josh Hader got the final out to pick up his 23rd save.
Tyler Mahle made the start for Texas, allowing a run on five hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out two and took the loss.
