After looking at some fantasy baseball waiver wire/streaming pitching options, let's now discuss some hitters.

Also be sure to check out the weekly projection article, where we looked at hitters and pitchers projected for big weeks.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Carter Jensen and Jac Caglianone - Kansas City Royals

Jensen is up a whopping 10.4% today. That brings his overall mark to 68.73%. Caglianone has been added in 3.9% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 76.36% overall.

Jensen has a 12-game hitting streak going, and has 18 hits over that span. He has multi-hit games in three of his past four appearances, so he's a hot hitter right now.

The primary catcher has a .244 average and .312 on-base percentage over 71 games and 269 plate appearances this season. Jensen has 58 total hits, including 16 doubles and 10 home runs, plus 39 RBIs, 36 runs scored, a stolen base, 25 walks and 73 strikeouts.

Jensen is playing regularly, starting as the designated hitter for a lot of games he's not the catcher. That ups his fantasy value, and makes him worth owning in most leagues right now. If you need catcher help, look Jensen's direction.

Caglianone has a four-game hitting streak going, and has four home runs among the six knocks in that span. He has multi-RBI efforts in three straight games, and six runs scored over that span.

Caglianone now has a .275 average and .349 OBP over 72 contests and 272 plate appearances on the year. He has 12 doubles and homers, plus a triple, among his 67 total hits, plus 27 RBIs, 35 runs scored, three stolen bases, 24 walks and 80 strikeouts.

The primary right fielder can also play some first base, so that dual position eligibility is a fantasy boost for Caglianone. He might be at stacked fantasy spots, but he's worth utilizing in most leagues right now.

TJ Rumfield - Colorado Rockies

Rumfield is owned in 61.59% of leagues after a 3.26% increase.

He is on a five-game hitting streak, with three homers among his six total knocks in that span. Rumfield has eight RBIs and three runs scored over that timeframe.

Rumfield has a .279 average and .359 OBP over 75 games and 301 plate appearances this season. He has 14 doubles, 12 homers and two triples among his 74 total hits, plus 42 RBIs, 34 runs scored, 28 walks and 44 strikeouts.

Rumfield might not be on the best team, but he's delivering plenty at the plate, so he's a sneaky-good fantasy asset. The primary first baseman is another one to utilize in deeper leagues, and even some standard leagues, especially if you need 1B or infield help.

Sam Antonacci - Chicago White Sox

Antonacci has been added in 3.45% of leagues, and he sits at 53.09% overall now.

He went hitless on Sunday, but had two-hit games in the two games before that. Antonacci had a six-game hitting streak snapped on Sunday.

Antonacci has a .287 average and .386 OBP over 58 contests and 230 plate appearances this season. He has 56 total knocks, plus 10 doubles, four homers and two triples. Antonacci has 19 RBIs, 36 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 16 walks and 36 strikeouts as well.

Antonacci has played second base and left field, so dual eligibility is a nice fantasy boost for him. He's a good deep-league fantasy asset, and he could even be a short-term standard league option when his bat is hot.

Caleb Durbin - Boston Red Sox

Durbin is rostered in 20% of leagues right now. He was owned in most leagues at the start of the season, but was near 15% a few days ago.

He has a four-game hitting streak going, with eight total knocks in that span. Durbin has two homers and two doubles among the hits, plus three RBIs and four runs scored.

Durbin started the year slowly, so his .215 average and .369 OBP are still not good. Over 68 contests and 240 plate appearances, Durbin has 47 total hits, 29 RBIs, 25 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 13 walks and 34 strikeouts. Among the hits, Durbin has 15 doubles, five home runs and a triple.

Durbin has just played third base for Boston, but might have second base or shortstop eligibility from last year with Milwaukee. Even if he's just a third baseman, Durbin is doing enough at the plate of late to add back in deeper fantasy leagues, at least. He could work back into standard leagues eventually too, so keep tabs on him and be ready to pounce.
