Weekly fantasy baseball projections can be found on FantasySP all season! Daily projections are also available!
Hitters
Blaze Jordan - St. Louis Cardinals
Jordan is rostered in 34% of fantasy baseball leagues as the new week begins. He's got seven possible games he could play in.
He has a three-game hitting streak going right now. Jordan has been in the big leagues for a little over a week, playing in nine games and getting 36 plate appearances so far. He has a .286 average and .306 on-base percentage so far.
Jordan has 10 hits, including two doubles, a triple and a home run. He has seven RBIs, five runs scored, a walk and just four strikeouts.
The primary third baseman can also play first base, and dual eligibility could boost his value. Jordan is hitting enough early on to add and utilize in more deeper leagues. If he keeps producing at a similar level, he could work into standard leagues, and the projections are saying he might be worth trying this week.
Paul Goldschmidt - New York Yankees
Goldschmidt has seven scheduled games as well this week. He's sitting at 56% owned right now.
He has just one hit over his past three games played, but he homered for that hit, and didn't start one of the games. Goldschmidt has seen his playing time increase since the injury to Aaron Judge.
Goldschmidt has a .289 average and .352 OBP over 51 games and 199 plate appearances this season. He has 12 homers, eight doubles and a triple among his 52 total knocks. Goldy also has 37 RBIs, 27 runs scored, a stolen base, 15 walks and 38 strikeouts.
The veteran first baseman can still produce a bit at the plate, and when he's playing regularly, he's worth utilizing in a good amount of leagues. Right now, he's worth utilizing in most deeper leagues. He could even be a standard league streaming option, especially if you need help at first base or in the infield.
Caleb Durbin - Boston Red Sox
Durbin is rostered in just 19% of leagues right now. He has seven possible games he could play in as well.
Durbin had a very rough start to the season, and still sits with a .215 average and .269 OBP over 68 contests and 240 plate appearances. He has 15 doubles, five homers and a triple among his 47 total hits, plus has 29 RBIs, 25 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 13 walks and 24 strikeouts.
He has a four-game hitting streak going, and has eight knocks over that span. Durbin has two homers and two doubles among the hits, plus three RBIs and four runs scored.
Durbin is trending up after a bad start to the year. He should settle in between those two extremes at some point, and be a solid fantasy asset at that point. Durbin is worth adding back in deeper leagues right now, especially while his bat is this hot. He could even work back into standard leagues if he keeps rolling, so keep tabs on him.
Bryson Stott - Philadelphia Phillies
Stott is owned in roughly 52% of leagues right now. He has seven games he could play in.
He has a five-game hitting streak going, with six knocks over that span. Stott has a double and triple among the hits, plus three RBIs and runs scored, two stolen bases and a walk.
Stott has a .236 average and .292 OBP over 71 games and 269 plate appearances this season. He has 58 total hits, including 14 doubles, six homers and three triples. Stott has 36 RBIs, 25 runs scored, 14 stolen bases, 19 walks and 44 strikeouts as well.
Stott is another guy who started his season slow, but he's producing enough to utilize in most deeper leagues now. He is even a standard league streaming option, especially if you need help at second base.
Travis Bazzana - Cleveland Guardians
Bazzana only has six games scheduled, so he's projected for a bit bigger week. He is rostered in about 66% of leagues right now.
He has played in 47 games, getting 199 plate appearances so far. Bazzana has 47 hits, including 11 doubles, seven homers and a triple. The rookie has 24 RBIs, 22 runs scored, 11 stolen bases, 24 walks and 38 strikeouts.
Bazzana has seven hits over his past three games, including two homers and a double. He also has six RBIs and four runs scored over that short span.
Bazzana is producing pretty well in his first taste of the big leagues, and I'm a bit surprised he isn't more rostered in fantasy leagues. He's a good asset at second base, and is playing daily. Consider adding, or even just streaming, Bazzana until his bat cools off some.
Pitchers
Shane Bieber - Toronto Blue Jays
Bieber is set to pitch in the big leagues for the first time this season this week. He has starts lined up against the Astros and Rangers and is rostered in about 63% of leagues right now.
Bieber has a 3.24 earned run average over his career, but injuries have derailed his career a bit. He's made just nine starts over the past two seasons, but pitched pretty well over that span.
You can add a top-line fantasy pitcher for free right now, and I'd be all over that move. Stop reading this now and scoop Bieber up before he's added by a fantasy league opponent.
Andre Pallante - St. Louis Cardinals
Pallante has starts lined up against the Diamondbacks and Marlins this week. He's owned in 45% of leagues right now.
He's been really good in June across three starts, allowing two or less runs in each outing. Pallante has at least five strikeouts in every outing and has covered between 5 2/3-7 innings.
Pallante's matchup against the D-Backs isn't great, but it's an OK one to attack, especially with how Pallante has pitched of late. I like his matchup against the Marlins, especially if he looks good against Arizona earlier in the week.
He's a good deep-league option for the start against Arizona, and is standard league-worthy for that Miami start.
Javier Assad - Chicago Cubs
Assad is owned in roughly 27% of leagues as the new week starts. He is scheduled to face the Mets and Brewers this week.
He is back in the rotation out of necessity for Chicago. He made two starts in a row, and has allowed just two runs over 11 2/3 innings combined - he struck out just six over those outings though.
His matchup against the Mets is a favorable one, but the clash against the Brewers is not a very good one on paper. He could be a deep-league starting option for both starts, but only consider streaming him in standard leagues against the Mets.
Zebby Matthews - Minnesota Twins
Matthews is rostered in about 20% of leagues at this moment. He has starts lined up against the Dodgers and Rockies this week.
He's coming off a good start, allowing just two runs over seven innings against Texas. Matthews gave up seven runs in the start before that, two in the outing before that and seven in the start prior. In other words, he's an up-and-down fantasy asset.
His matchup against the Dodgers is not a favorable one, but he could be tried in some deeper leagues - just don't expect too much. Matthews is a much better option against Colorado, but if he struggles against LA, then the righty might only be trusted in deeper leagues.
Brady Singer - Cincinnati Reds
Singer is sitting at just 13% owned right now. He has starts lined up against the Brewers and Pirates this week.
He's allowed three or less earned runs in four straight starts. Singer has five strikeouts or more in three straight starts, and has covered five innings in three of his past four outings.
Singer's clash against the Brewers isn't one to try him in outside deeper leagues. He will be a better option against the Pirates, but still isn't one I'd be trying in standard leagues, unless he starts on a day where only a handful of teams are playing.
