Top Prospects
Boston's Roman Anthony is still the No. 1 prospect in the game.
He's got a .210 average and .329 on-base percentage in his first 19 MLB games, but it's not time to panic yet. His .285 average and .402 OBP in the minor leagues shows his upside.
Cincinnati's Chase Burns is the No. 2 prospect in the game. He recently made his MLB debut, and has pitched in two games so far. Burns has an 0-1 record and 13.50 earned run average over 5 1/3 innings, but does have eight strikeouts.
San Diego's Leodalis De Vries is the third-ranked prospect. He's playing at High-A right now, and owns a .246 average and .358 OBP over 64 games so far. De Vries is just 18 years old, and could be the game's No. 1 prospect in time.
Texas' Sebastian Walcott is ranked fourth overall. He's got a .246 average and .347 OBP over 72 games at Double-A this season. Walcott also has No. 1 prospect potential, and is just 19 years old.
The No. 5 prospect is Pittsburgh's Bubba Chandler. He's got a 3.38 ERA over 61 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season, and could be due for a promotion to the big leagues at any point now.
Boston's Marcelo Mayer, Detroit's Kevin McGonigle, Milwaukee's Jesus Made, Kansas City's Jac Caglianone and Philadelphia's Andrew Painter are ranked 6th-10th on the top-100 list.
Baltimore's Samuel Basallo, Detroit's Max Clark, Pittsburgh's Konnor Griffin, Arizona's Jordan Lawlar and Minnesota's Walker Jenkins are ranked 10th-15th.
Cleveland's Travis Bazzana, Chicago White Sox' Noah Schultz, Seattle's Colt Emerson, St. Louis' J.J. Wetherholt and San Francisco's Bryce Eldridge are ranked 15th-20th.
Biggest Risers
Two Brewers jumped the most spots in the most recent rankings.
Luis Pena moved up 56 spots, and sits at No. 39 overall now. Jacob Misiorowski is up 43 spots and sits at No. 21 overall.
Pena has a .316 average and .385 OBP over 53 games at Single-A this season. He's just 18 years old.
Misiorowski has made his MLB debut and has looked stellar in three starts. He's got a 1.13 ERA and 3-0 record over three starts and 16 innings. If you want to see him in action, he's the probable starter for the team's evening game on Wednesday.
New York Mets' Jonah Tong is up 33 spots and sits at No. 59 overall now. He has a 1.73 ERA over 73 innings at Double-A this season.
Athletics' Gage Jump is up 28 spots to No. 68. Jump has a 2.09 ERA over 73 1/3 innings at two minor league stops this season.
Washington's Travis Sykora is up to No. 30 after a 24-spot bump. He's posted a 1.83 ERA over 44 1/3 innings at four different minor league levels this season.
Mets' Nolan McLean is up 21 spots to No. 76 overall. He's posted a 2.25 ERA over 76 innings at two different minor league levels so far.
Griffin rose 18 spots to his No. 13 overall spot. Cleveland's C.J. Kayfus is also up 18 spots, and he sits at No. 75 overall now.
Detroit's Josue Briceno rose 15 spots to No. 58, while McGonigle rose 14 spots to No. 7 overall. Philadelphia's Mick Abel is up 11 spots to No. 87 after turning in some solid results at the big league level.
Made is up 10 spots, as are Cleveland's Chase DeLauter (No. 35 overall), Boston's Franklin Arias (No. 40), Cincinnati's Sal Stewart (No. 52), Seattle's Michael Arroyo (No. 65), Tampa Bay's Theo Gillen (No. 67), St. Louis' Leonardo Bernal (No. 89) and LA Dodgers' Eduardo Quintero (No. 90).
Biggest Droppers
The biggest dropper is also a Brewer. Jeferson Quero fell from No. 34 to No. 70, a 36-spot difference. He has a .298 average and .402 OBP this season, but has logged just 29 games.
Tampa Bay's Xavier Isaac is down 32 spots to No. 71 overall. He's hitting .201 and getting on base at a .366 clip over 41 contests this season.
St. Louis' Quinn Mathews is down to No. 60 after falling 27 spots. He's got a 3.89 ERA over 37 innings so far this season.
Cleveland's Jaison Chourio is down 26 spots to No. 72 overall. He has just a .185 average, but a .373 OBP over 40 games so far this season.
Chicago Cubs' Kevin Alcantara is down 20 spots and sits at No. 86 overall. He has a .267 average and .350 OBP over 67 minor league games this season. Alcantara had one hit over 10 MLB at-bats earlier this season.
Minnesota's Emmanuel Rodriguez dropped 19 spots to No. 46. Miami's Starlyn Caba is ranked 78th after falling 17 spots.
LA Dodgers' Jackson Ferris fell 14 spots to No. 69 overall. Chicago White Sox's Hagen Smith is down 13 spots to No. 38, while Tampa Bay's Carson Williams is ranked 31st after a 12-spot dropoff.
Lawlar (No. 14) and Detroit's Thayron Liranzo (No. 88) each dropped 10 spots from the last rankings.
Dropped from the Rankings
Continuing on the negative theme, several players also fell out of the top 100.
LA Angels' Caden Dana is now unranked after being ranked 57th. New York Mets' Brandon Sproat was ranked 60th, but is now outside the top 100.
Cincinnati's Edwin Arroyo fell from No. 68. Tampa Bay's Brayden Taylor and Tre' Morgan were ranked 71st and 72nd, but are now not ranked.
Pittsburgh's Thomas Harrington and Termarr Johnson went from Nos. 76 and 79, respectively, to unranked. Aidan Smith is another Ray who was ranked (No. 83) and isn't anymore. Miami's Noble Meyer dropped out of the rankings after previously being 89th.
New Faces in Top 100
There are nine new names in the top 100, and they all rank between 91st-100th.
Milwaukee's Logan Henderson is No. 91. He has a 1.71 ERA over 21 MLB innings this season. Henderson is back in Triple-A for now, where he has a 3.12 ERA over 57 2/3 innings this year.
Athletics' Luis Morales is ranked 92nd. He owns a 3.89 ERA over 76 1/3 innings in the minor this season. Morales is pitching in Triple-A as a 22-year-old.
Cincinnati's Alfredo Duno is the No. 93 prospect now. He has a .269 average and .419 OBP over 65 games at Single-A this season. He's only 19 years old.
Chicago White Sox' Colson Montgomery is back in the top 100, sitting at No. 95. He has a .214 average and .293 OBP over 59 games so far this season.
Minnesota's Kaelen Culpepper sits 96th in the new rankings. He has a .294 average and .386 OBP over 63 games in the minor leagues this season. Culpepper is playing in Double-A right now.
Philadelphia's Aroon Escobar is the No. 97 prospect and is just 20 years old. Houston's Brice Matthews is ranked 98th and plays at Triple-A for now.
St. Louis' Rainiel Rodriguez is the No. 99 prospect. He's in Single-A as an 18-year-old.
The No. 100 prospect is Boston's Jhostynxon Garcia. He's 22 years old and plays in Triple-A for now.
