Significant Hamstring Injury Clouds Rookie Campaign Following Electric Training Camp

Selected eighth overall by New Orleans, Jordyn Tyson generated massive training camp buzz as an elite separator slated to start on the perimeter opposite Chris Olave. However, a significant mid-August hamstring injury is expected to sideline him for roughly two months, likely placing him on injured reserve to begin his rookie campaign.

When healthy, Tyson possesses the talent to command meaningful volume with quarterback Tyler Shough. Our season projections anticipate a productive role once active, forecasting 65 receptions, 815 receiving yards, and four touchdowns on 104 targets across his available action.

Fantasy managers have responded aggressively to the setback. After holding firm around pick 71 in July and near 80 in early August, Tyson's ADP has plummeted past pick 100. While his early absence carries risk, this declining price makes him an appealing late-round stash with second-half league-winning upside.
