Top-15 Prospects
With players like Kristian Campbell, Cam Smith, Drake Baldwin and Roki Sasaki graduating off the top-100 list, there was plenty of player movement.
Boston's Roman Anthony is now the top-ranked player in the MLB. The 20-year-old outfielder is in Triple-A and absolutely raking.
He has a .302 average and .423 on-base percentage, along with five homers and doubles among his 38 total knocks. Anthony has 17 RBIs, 28 walks, 25 runs scored, three stolen bases and 33 strikeouts. It's only a matter of time before Anthony gets called up.
Pittsburgh's Bubba Chandler is the No. 2 prospect in baseball now. Across seven Triple-A starts this season, he has a 2-1 record and 2.25 earned run average. He's struck out 41 batters across 28 innings, while allowing 11 walks and having just a .160 average against him.
Chandler should be another prospect who gets called up fairly soon. He's clearly proved all he needs to at Triple-A.
San Diego's Leodalis De Vries is the No. 3 MLB prospect, and is the only top-five prospect who isn't in Triple-A. The 18-year-old is playing in High-A for now.
De Vries has a .288 average and .375 OBP across 27 games so far this season. He has a 60 overall grade and ETA of 2027 after being signed last January. He could be a very quick riser, especially if he keeps producing like he has been.
Lawlar is the No. 4 prospect in baseball. He's been tearing it up in Triple-A this season. More on his numbers can be read in his call up article.
Philadelphia's Andrew Painter is the No. 5 prospect. The 22-year-old has been good across his five starts this season (four in Single-A and one at Triple-A).
He has a 3.14 ERA across 14 1/3 innings. Painter has struck out 17 batters, walked just four and has a .204 average against him. He needs some more Triple-A seasoning before being called up, but that should come at some point in 2025 still.
Minnesota's Walker Jenkins, Detroit's Max Clark, Boston's Marcelo Mayer, Texas' Sebastian Walcott and Kansas City's Jac Caglianone round out the top-10 prospects in baseball.
Mayer is the only one of that group in Triple-A right now - he's got a 2025 ETA. Jenkins, Caglianone and Walcott are all in Double-A and have 2026 ETAs. Clark is at High-A and has a 2027 ETA.
Cincinnati's Chase Burns, Cleveland's Travis Bazzana, Chicago White Sox' Noah Schultz, Athletics' Nick Kurtz and Los Angeles Dodgers' Dalton Rushing are the other prospects inside the top 15.
Kurtz has already made his MLB debut. He's got a .269 average and .322 OBP across 16 games so far. He should stick in the big leagues, which means he'll lose his prospect status in short order.
Rushing is in Triple-A and has a 2025 ETA. Burns, Bazzana and Schultz are all playing in Double-A. Each player still has a 2025 ETA.
Biggest Risers
New York Yankees' George Lombard Jr. is the highest riser inside the top 100, going from 93 to 44.
Lombard is a 19-year-old middle infielder who was taken in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft. He has jumped from High-A to Double-A already this season. Lombard has a combined .301 average and .463 OBP across 30 games.
Milwaukee's Jesus Made is up 26 spots (49 to 23). The 18-year-old infielder has been a monster in High-A so far. Made has a .311 average and .418 OBP across 26 games played, and could rise quickly if he keeps delivering at the plate.
LA Dodgers' Zyhir Hope is up 21 spots to No. 45 overall. The 20-year-old outfielder has played in 33 High-A games this season, posting a .286 average and .375 OBP so far.
Toronto's Arjun Nimmala and Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski are each up 19 spots in the prospect rankings. Nimmala is No. 59 overall, is playing in High-A and has a 2028 ETA for now. Misiorowski is up to No. 72 overall - the 23-year-old pitcher owns some of the best minor league pitching stats this season, and could be called up at any point.
Kurtz is up 18 spots from his preseason spot. De Vries got bumped up 11 spots, while Burns and Rushing are each up 10 spots.
LA Dodgers' Alex Freeland is up 15 spots to No. 48 overall. The 23-year-old outfielder is in Triple-A, and should be called up at some point in 2025.
Chicago Cubs' Cade Horton (No. 35), Chicago White Sox' Braden Montgomery (No. 38), Boston's Franklin Arias (No. 57) and Chicago Cubs' Jefferson Rojas (No. 78) are all up 10 spots in the prospect rankings.
Horton made his MLB debut over the weekend, working four innings against the Mets. He earned the win after coming on in relief - he struck out five batters and allowed four hits and a walk.
Montgomery was drafted 12th overall last season, and is playing in High-A as a 22-year-old. Arias was signed in 2023 and is in High-A as a 19-year-old. Rojas was signed in 2022 and is at High-A as a 20-year-old. Rojas has an ETA of 2026, while the ETAs for Arias and Montgomery are 2027.
New Top-100 Prospects
Miami's Robby Snelling (No. 94), Washington's Brady House (No. 95), Seattle's Ryan Sloan (No. 96), Miami's Agustin Ramirez (No. 97) and Arizona's Slade Caldwell (No. 99) and Ryan Waldschmidt (No. 100) all are part of the top-100 list now.
Snelling is a 21-year-old pitcher in Double-A. He has a 2025 ETA. House is also expected to debut at some point this season. He's a 21-year-old playing in Triple-A.
Sloan is just 19 years old and pitches in Single-A for now. Caldwell is 18 years old and pitches in Single-A as well. Waldschmidt is 22 years old and plays in High-A.
Ramirez has already made his MLB debut as a 23-year-old. He has a .262 average and .304 OBP across 17 MLB games so far.
Biggest Droppers
New York Mets' Brandon Sproat is down 28 spots to No. 68.
Sproat is pitching in Triple-A, and has a 1-3 record and 4.82 ERA across 28 innings pitched this season. He was a second-round pick in the 2023 draft, and is expected to debut this season.
Cleveland's Chase DeLauter is down 22 spots to No. 52. He's played in just two games this season after an early-season injury. The 2022 first-round pick is expected to debut in 2025.
Miami's Noble Meyer is down 22 spots, and barely hanging on to a top-100 spot at No. 98. The 2023 first-round pick is pitching in High-A as a 20-year-old. Meyer has a 7.13 ERA across five starts and 17 2/3 innings so far.
Tampa Bay's Brayden Taylor is down 21 spots to No. 79 overall. The 22-year-old infielder is expected to debut in 2026, and currently is playing in Double-A. Taylor has a .143 average and .271 OBP across 28 games so far.
Tampa Bay's Carson Williams is down 19 spots to No. 24. The 21-year-old shortstop is expected to debut in 2025, but he's hitting just .176 across 35 Triple-A games so far.
Pittsburgh's Termarr Johnson is No. 87 after dropping 13 spots. Detroit's Thayron Liranzo (No. 86) and Pittsburgh's Thomas Harrington (No. 84) also dropped 13 spots in the newest rankings.
Kansas City's Carter Jensen (No. 88) and Seattle's Harry Ford (No. 67) both fell 11 spots in the newest rankings.

Chicago Cubs' James Triantos went from No. 67 to unranked. He's hitting .235 with a .270 OBP across 21 Triple-A games.
