Fantasy Baseball Week 21 Projections and Waiver Wire Hitting Options

Looking at week 21 fantasy baseball projections to identify some possible streaming options.

A new week is here, so it's time to go over the weekly hitting projections and discuss some possible fantasy baseball waiver wire streaming options.

Catchers

Ivan Herrera is projected for 24 points over six possible games this week. He's rostered in 70% of fantasy leagues.

In 65 games and over 269 plate appearances this season, Herrera has a .296 average and .377 on-base percentage. He has 10 doubles and home runs among his 69 total hits, while also posting 42 RBIs, 29 runs scored, four stolen bases, 26 walks and 55 strikeouts.

Ryan Jeffers (22% rostered), Agustin Ramirez (86%) and Yainer Diaz (88%) are all projected for 20 fantasy points this week. Jeffers could play up to seven games, while Ramirez and Diaz have just six games scheduled each.

J.T. Realmuto (71%), Carson Kelly (41%) and Drake Baldwin (41%) are all set for 20 points this week. Realmuto has seven games on the schedule, while Kelly and Baldwin have six each.

First Basemen

Alec Burleson is set for 22 fantasy points over six possible games. He's rostered in 63% of leagues right now.

Burleson has a .280 average and .334 OBP over 107 games and 407 plate appearances this season. He has 19 doubles and 14 home runs among his 103 total hits, while also having posted 51 RBIs, 41 runs scored, four stolen bases, 31 walks and 58 strikeouts.

Josh Bell is projected for 21 points over seven games. He's rostered in just 6% of leagues.

Bell is up to 101 games and 396 plate appearances on the season. He has a .235 average and .333 OBP, while having 12 doubles, 14 home runs and a triple among his 81 total hits. Bell has also posted 41 RBIs, 38 runs scored, 46 walks and 71 strikeouts this season.

C.J. Kayfus (5%), Nathaniel Lowe (40%), Paul Goldschmidt (71%) and Michael Busch (78%) are all projected for 20 fantasy points this week. Only Lowe could play up to seven games of that quartet.

Second Basemen

Luke Keaschall is projected for the most fantasy points among second basemen. He's owned in 61% of leagues right now.

He recently returned to the big leagues after a long layoff with an injury. Keaschall has 12 games played and 48 plate appearances on the season, and has a .415 average and .500 OBP so far. Keaschall has six doubles and two homers among his 17 total hits, along with 12 RBIs, six runs scored, five stolen bases and walks and just three punchouts.

Luis Garcia Jr. and Brendan Donovan are each set for 23 points. Garcia is owned in 49% of leagues and could play seven games, while Donovan is at 89% and has six scheduled games.

Garcia has a .263 average and .302 OBP over 101 games and 391 plate appearances. He has 22 doubles and nine home runs among his 95 total knocks, while also tallying 50 RBIs, 49 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 21 walks and 60 strikeouts.

Donovan has played in 107 games and logged 466 plate appearances this season. He's got a .278 average and .349 OBP, along with 24 doubles and nine homers amongst 115 hits. Donovan has also tallied 57 runs scored, 43 RBIs, three stolen bases, 40 walks and 61 strikeouts.

Bryson Stott (57%) is projected for 22 points over seven games. Otto Lopez (48%) and Brandon Lowe (79%) are each set for 21 points over six contests.

Jeff McNeil (11%), Colt Keith (25%) and Marcus Semien (88%) are all projected for 20 points this week. Keith could play seven games, while McNeil and Semien have six each.

Shortstops

Warming Bernabel is the top-projected shortstop. He could play up to seven games and has a 46% own mark.

Bernabel has a .333 average and .345 OBP over his first 14 games and 58 plate appearances in the big leagues. He has six doubles, three homers and a triple among his 19 total hits, while also posting 10 RBIs, seven runs scored, a walk and nine strikeouts.

Xavier Edwards is rostered in 79% of leagues and is set for 24 points over six possible games.

Has a .305 average and .365 OBP over 102 games and 461 plate appearances this season. Edwards has 19 homers, three triples and one homer among his 127 total knocks. He also has tallied 33 RBIs, 55 runs scored, 22 stolen bases, 39 walks and 63 strikeouts.

Ezequiel Tovar is set for 23 points over seven games this week. He's rostered in 43% of leagues right now.

He's played in 51 games and gotten 216 plate appearances this season. Tovar has a .284 average and .324 OBP, along with 20 RBIs, 29 runs scored, four stolen bases, 11 walks and 47 strikeouts. He has 15 doubles, six homers and two triples among his 57 total knocks.

Masyn Winn (47%) is among the players projected for 22 points this week. He has six games scheduled.

Carlos Correa (60%), Zach Neto (83%) and Trevor Story (79%) are all at 21 projected points. All three players have six games scheduled.

Dansby Swanson (78%) is projected for 20 points over six contests.

Third Basemen

Zach McKinstry is set for 23 fantasy points over seven games this week. He's currently rostered in 69% of leagues.

He has a .269 average and .348 OBP over 106 games and 395 plate appearances. McKinstry has 18 doubles, 10 homers and eight triples among his 93 total knocks, along with 39 RBIs, 55 runs scored, 17 stolen bases, 40 walks and 86 strikeouts.

Royce Lewis is the only other third baseman rostered in 89% of leagues or less to be projected for more than 20 points. He's at 21 projected points and is owned in 55% of leagues.

He's played in 62 games and gotten 230 plate appearances so far this season, and he has a .236 average and .291 OBP along the way. Lewis has 24 RBIs, 22 runs scored, a stolen base, 17 walks and 33 strikeouts, along with 13 doubles, five homers and 50 total hits.

Outfielders

Jakob Marsee is tied for the most fantasy points among outfielders. He's owned in 43% of leagues and has six possible games this week.

Marsee has a .419 average and .538 OBP over his first 11 games and 39 MLB plate appearances. He has a homer, triple and five doubles among his 13 total hits, along with six RBIs and runs scored, five stolen bases and eight walks and strikeouts.

Kerry Carpenter is projected for 24 points over seven games and is owned in 67% of leagues.

He's up to 90 games and 318 plate appearances for the season. Carpenter has a .269 average and .295 OBP, along with 45 RBIs, 48 runs scored, a stolen base, eight walks and 71 strikeouts. Carpenter has 15 doubles, 21 home runs and three triples among his 81 total hits.

Nick Castellanos (88%), Chandler Simpson (56%) and Wenceel Perez (11%) are all set for 23 points this week. Simpson is the only one in that trio with only six games scheduled.

Jung Hoo Lee (67%), Trevor Larnach (13%) and Cedric Mullins (61%) are projected for 22 points each. Larnach is the only one in that trio with seven games scheduled.

Brenton Doyle (40%), Mickey Moniak (32%), Tyler Freeman (14%), Lawrence Butler (85%), Javier Baez (31%), Giancarlo Stanton (50%) and Jesus Sanchez (16%) are all set for 21 points this week. Doyle, Moniak, Freeman and Baez all could play seven games, while the others have six scheduled.

Andy Pages (85%), Marcell Ozuna (78%), Ceddannee Rafaela (86%), Roman Anthony (74%), TJ Friedl (69%) and Michael Harris II (86%) are all projected for 20 fantasy points. All of them have six games scheduled.
