Top-10 Outfielders
Detroit's Max Clark, Minnesota's Walker Jenkins, Los Angeles Dodgers' Josue De Paula, New York Mets' Carson Benge, Los Angeles Dodgers' Zyhir Hope and Eduardo Quintero, Chicago White Sox' Braden Montgomery, Miami's Owen Caissie, Seattle's Lazaro Montes and Cleveland's Chase DeLauter are the top-10 ranked outfielders.
Clark is 21 years old, has a 2026 ETA and was the third overall pick in 2023.
In three years and over 241 minor league games, Clark has a .270 average and .388 on-base percentage. He's made it to Double-A, so it might take a bit more time in the minors before he's ready for a call up. He's a player to keep tabs on this season.
Jenkins is 20 years old, has a 2026 ETA and was the fifth overall pick in 2023.
He's made it to Triple-A despite dealing with a multitude of injuries. Over three years and 192 minor league games, Jenkins has a .295 average and .399 OBP. If he can stay healthy, Jenkins could become a big fantasy asset in all leagues.
De Paula is a 20-year-old who has a 2027 ETA. He was signed by LA back in 2022.
He's posted a .279 average and .305 OBP over three years and 336 minor league games. De Paula has made it to AA, so he has a chance to reach the MLB by the end of this year. Looking at his organization, it'd take several injuries to make that a reality, and his long-term outlook would likely be better with another team, as the path to clear playing time would be higher.
Benge is 23 years old and has made it to Triple-A. He has a 2026 ETA and was a first-round pick in 2024.
Over two years and 131 minor league games, Benge has a .280 average and .389 OBP in the minors. He too could have a tough time earning a spot in the big leagues, but great results in AAA could force the Mets' hand.
Hope is 21 years old. He was an 11th-round pick in 2023 and he has a 2027 ETA.
Hope has posted a .275 average and .391 OBP over three years and 199 minor league games. Hope is another Dodger outfield prospect who will need some things to break his way in order to have a clear path to playing time. I'd still love to roster him, as great results in the minors will eventually lead to him getting called up.
Quintero is 20 years old. He has a 2028 ETA and was signed by LA in 2023.
In three years and over 245 minor league games so far, Quintero has a .303 average and .427 OBP. He's only made it to High-A, so he needs some more time in the minor leagues, but I'd still be happy to roster him in dynasty leagues.
Montgomery is a 22-year-old with a 2026 ETA. He was a first-round pick in 2024.
Across three minor league levels last season, Montgomery had a .270 average and .360 OBP in 121 games. He's got a chance to make the team out of spring training, but should definitely have a chance to contribute at some point this coming year at the very least.
Caissie was just dealt from the Cubs to the Marlins. The 23-year-old was a second-round pick in 2020 and has a clearer path to playing time now.
He made it to the MLB last season, posting just a .192 average and .222 OBP over 12 contests. Caissie has a .280 average and .384 OBP over five years and 505 minor league games.
Montes is 21 years old and has a 2027 ETA. He was signed by Seattle in 2022.
Montes has a .273 average and .393 OBP over 372 minor league games and four years so far. He's made it to Double-A, so a late-season call up in 2026 is possible, but he's off redraft league radars until he's called up.
DeLauter is 24 years old and has a 2026 ETA. He was a first-round pick in 2022.
He's been held back by injuries, only playing in 138 games over three years. DeLauter has a .302 average and .384 OBP in the minors, so it makes sense to see him still ranked so highly. He'll be a good fantasy asset if he can stay healthy. DeLauter was up with the Guardians in the playoffs, so I'd expect him with the team to open the regular season.
Other Top-100 Ranked OFs
DeLauter is ranked 46th, so there's still several other outfielders to discuss in the top 100.
Pittsburgh's Edward Florentino is an outfield prospect who could also play some first base, so that could work in his favor for a call up. He's 19 years old, has a 2028 ETA and was signed by Pittsburgh in 2024.
He's posted a .290 average and .411 OBP over two years and 132 minor league games so far. Florentino only has made it to Single-A, but if he excels again this season, maybe he could move that ETA up to 2027.
Philadelphia's Justin Crawford is a 22-year-old who has a 2026 ETA - he was a first-round pick back in 2022.
In four years and over 325 games in the minors, Crawford has a .322 average and .385 OBP. I thought he deserved a call up last season, so he's got a chance to make the team right away this year, or be called up soon after the season opens.
Arizona's Ryan Waldschmidt is 23 years old, has a 2026 ETA and was the 31st pick in 2024.
He's made it to Double-A, posting a .288 average and .426 OBP so far over 148 games in two minor league years. More of that should get him to the big leagues at some point in 2026.
LA Dodgers' Mike Sirota is 22 years old, has a 2027 ETA and was a third-round pick in 2024.
He's made it to High-A, posting a .333 average and .452 OBP over 59 total minor league games. If Sirota keeps that up, he'll push for a call up this season, but would likely need a change of scenery to get that call.
Baltimore's Dylan Beavers is 24 years old now and was the 33rd pick in 2022.
He made it to the big leagues in 2025, tallying a .227 average and .375 OBP over 35 games. Beavers only has deep-league appeal to start this season, but could get into all leagues with better MLB stats.
Minnesota's Emmanuel Rodriguez is a 22-year-old with a 2026 ETA. He was signed by Minnesota way back in 2019.
In five years and over 295 games, Rodriguez has a .254 average and .424 OBP. He's made it to Triple-A, so he'll have a chance to make the team right away this season, making him a guy to keep tabs on in spring training.
Tampa Bay's Theo Gillen is 20 years old, has a 2028 ETA and was a first-round pick in 2024.
Gillen has a .257 average and .425 OBP over 81 minor league games in two years. He's only appeared at Single-A, so he's got a couple more years of seasoning probably before he's ready for a call up.
Seattle's Jonny Farmelo is a 21-year-old who has a 2028 ETA. He was the 29th pick in 2023.
In two years and over 75 minor league games, Farmelo has a .251 average and .369 OBP. He's only made it to High-A, so he too needs more seasoning in the minors before being ready for a big league call up.
St. Louis' Joshua Baez is 22 years old, has a 2026 ETA and was a second-round pick of the Cardinals in 2021.
In five years and over 349 games in the minors, Baez has a .250 average and .356 OBP. He hasn't excelled at the plate, but he'll have a chance to contribute for the Cardinals, who look to be rebuilding.
Baltimore's Nate George is just 19 years old, has a 2028 ETA and was a 16th-round pick in 2024.
In his one season of minor league ball, he played at three levels, making it to High-A. George played in 87 games, tallying a .337 average and .413 OBP. He could move up his ETA with another stellar season at the plate.
New York Mets' A.J. Ewing can also play second base, which could help his cause eventually. He has a 2027 ETA and was a fourth-round pick in 2023 - Ewing is 21 years old.
He's made it to Double-A, playing in 221 total minor league games. Ewing has a .283 average and .388 OBP so far. I think he has a chance at the big leagues in 2026, but that will depend on how he fares in the minors and what needs the big league team has.
