Dynasty Fantasy Baseball: Top Right-Handed Pitching Prospects for 2026
Top-10 right-handed pitching prospects, plus other top-100 RHP arms to know for 2026 and beyond.
A couple days ago, the top-100 MLB prospects for the 2026 season were revealed. I did a story looking at some of the top prospects, the teams with the most top-100 prospects and some other notes. Today, I want to keep going over top prospects, and we'll start by looking at right-handed pitchers.
We will break down the top-10 right handers, plus any other top-100 prospects that are RHP. Let's get right into it!

Top-10 Righties
New York Mets' Nolan McLean, Pittsburgh's Bubba Chandler, Toronto's Trey Yesavage, Philadelphia's Andrew Painter, Pittsburgh's Seth Hernandez, Seattle's Ryan Sloan, New York Mets' Jonah Tong, Washington's Travis Sykora, Chicago Cubs' Jaxon Wiggins and New York Yankees' Carlos Lagrange are the top-10 right-handed pitchers in the preseason update.
McLean is 24 years old and made his MLB debut last season. He worked 48 big league innings, going 5-1 with a 2.06 earned run average over eight total starts.
McLean looked the part last season, and should be a highly sought after fantasy starting pitcher for 2026. His dynasty stock is even higher.
Chandler also made his big league debut in 2025, appearing in seven games (four starts). He went 4-1 with a 4.02 ERA over 31 1/3 innings.
Chandler is 23 years old and should be a big part of the Pirates' plans again for 2026. His dynasty stock is higher, but he also has some redraft value, especially if he opens the year in the big league rotation.
Yesavage is 22 years old and also made his debut in 2025. He appeared in three games, working 14 innings. Yesavage went 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA and flashed some huge upside.
He was drafted last summer, and only needed 98 minor league innings before a big league call up. I'll be interested to see how the youngster fares in his second taste of the big leagues.
Painter is another 22-year-old, but he hasn't made his big league debut yet. The 2021 first-round pick should finally pitch in the big leagues in 2026.
He owns a 3.44 ERA over three minor league seasons, but struggled to a 5.26 ERA over a couple stops last year. This is a big year for Painter, and if he doesn't bounce back, he might have a hard time getting called up, and will see his long-term outlook drop significantly.
Hernandez is just 19 years old. He was the No. 6 pick of the Pirates last summer. Hernandez has an ETA of 2028.
He hasn't pitched in the minors yet, so it will be great to see him get started. We'll see if he can follow in the footsteps of Chandler, Paul Skenes and Jared Jones.
Sloan's ETA is also 2028. The 19-year-old was drafted in the second round in 2024.
Across two minor league stops last season, Sloan had a 3.73 ERA over 82 innings. I think he could debut sooner than 2028 if he excels as he moves up the minor league ladder.
Tong made his MLB debut last season, but struggled to a 7.71 ERA over 18 2/3 innings across five starts.
He posted a much better 2.54 ERA over 247 2/3 minor league innings, so we'll see if he can make adjustments and fare better this year. Tong might be on the outside looking in for a starting rotation spot to start the year, but he should be back in the big leagues at some point - so while he has some redraft value, his dynasty value is much higher.
Sykora has starred since being drafted 71st overall by the Nationals in 2023. The 21-year-old has a 2028 ETA, but I think that could get moved up.
Across four levels last season (Double-A being the highest), Sykora had a 3-1 record and 1.79 ERA over 45 1/3 innings. He has a 2.14 ERA over 130 1/3 minor league innings so far. Sykora is a pitching prospect I really like, so definitely keep him in mind, especially in dynasty leagues.
Wiggins is 24 years old and is expected to make his MLB debut in 2026. He was drafted 68th overall in 2023.
He owns a 3.14 ERA over 137 2/3 minor league innings in two years. Wiggins had a 2.19 ERA over 78 frames last year, and he topped out at Triple-A. So it shouldn't be much longer until he's ready to contribute at the MLB level, so he could be a fantasy asset in all leagues in 2026.
Lagrange is 22 years old and is another guy who is expected to debut in 2026. He was signed by the Yankees in 2022.
In parts of four minor league seasons, Lagrange has a 4.05 ERA over 215 2/3 innings. He had a 3.53 ERA over two minor league stops last season though. It might take some time for him to reach the big leagues yet, but he too could help contribute this coming season.
Other Top-100 Ranked RHPs
Lagrange was ranked 79th and slipped into the top-10 right-handed pitchers. It was close though, with six of the next seven players in the top 100 being RHP as well.
Washington's Jarlin Susana, Los Angeles Angels' Tyler Bremner, New York Yankees' Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz, Boston's Kyson Witherspoon, Tampa Bay's Brody Hopkins, Cincinnati's Rhett Lowder, Atlanta's JR Ritchie, Seattle's Jurrangelo Cijntje and Milwaukee's Brandon Sproat also made the top 100.
Susana is 21 years old and is expected to debut in 2027. He was signed by the Padres back in 2022.
Over four minor league seasons, Susana has a 4.03 ERA over 268 innings. That's not a great ERA, but his 380 strikeouts are definitely appealing. He's a name to keep an eye on, but you'd like to see his ERA lowered here soon.
Bremner is 21 years old and has a 2026 ETA despite being drafted last summer. He was the No. 2 overall pick.
He hasn't pitched in the minor leagues yet. LA has been a team that will push their prospects through the minors quickly, and Bremner could be next in line to be on the fast track, so keep him in mind if he's eventually called up this season.
Rodriguez is a 22-year-old who has a 2026 ETA. He was a fourth-round pick of the Red Sox in 2021.
Rodriguez has pitched four years in the minors, sporting a 2.59 ERA over 333 1/3 innings. It could be tough for him to be called up in New York with all the starting pitchers the Yanks have, but a trade or injuries could do the trick eventually.
Witherspoon is 21 years old and has a 2027 ETA. He was the No. 15 pick last summer.
He hasn't pitched in the minor leagues yet, but is expected to be a quick riser. Witherspoon might not make it up this season, but he's a guy to keep in mind for the long run.
Hopkins is expected to debut in 2026. The 24-year-old was a sixth-round pick back in 2023.
In two minor league years, Hopkins has a 2.88 ERA over 231 innings. He is a pitching prospect I've been intrigued by, and hopefully we get to see him in the big leagues in 2026. He'll of course have fantasy value in redraft leagues if that happens.
Lowder is a 23-year-old hoping to re-emerge for the Reds. He posted a 1.17 ERA over 30 2/3 MLB innings in 2024, but was limited to just 9 1/3 innings in the minor leagues last year because of injuries.
Hopefully he can stay healthy and be a good fantasy option again in 2026.
Ritchie is another pitcher with a 2026 ETA. He is 22 years old and was drafted back in 2022.
He has a 2.82 ERA over 217 1/3 innings across four minor league years. Ritchie has a chance to help out the big league team early on in 2026, so he's a name to keep in mind.
Cijntje is creating plenty of buzz as a switch-pitcher. He is 22 years old and is expected to debut sometime in 2026 after just being drafted in 2024.
Across two levels last year, he had a 3.99 ERA over 108 1/3 innings. Cijntje definitely is an intriguing prospect, and will be heavily added in fantasy leagues when he gets called up, so be ready for that.
Sproat was just traded from the Mets to the Brewers. The 25-year-old made his MLB debut last year, posting a 4.79 ERA over 20 2/3 innings.
He will have to pitch well to make the Brewers' loaded rotation, but I would expect him to get a chance to contribute at some point, maybe even right away.
