A.J. Ewing - New York Mets

Ewing is rostered in 27.04% of fantasy baseball leagues right now. He was at 22.47% back on September 5. 

He has reached base in nine straight games, collecting 14 hits and four hits over that stretch. Ewing has three doubles and a home run, plus seven RBIs and runs scored, two stolen bases and five strikeouts.

Over 104 games and 430 plate appearances this season, Ewing has a .252 average and .322 on-base percentage. He has 96 total hits, including 19 doubles, eight homers and a triple, along with 35 RBIs, 48 runs scored, 23 stolen bases, 39 walks and 109 strikeouts. 

He's played second base a couple times, while mostly playing the outfield - I'd guess he's only eligible there. Ewing is delivering enough at the plate now to add and utilize in some more leagues, but he's just a deep-league option to most fantasy owners. If you need outfield help though, Ewing is an option in all leagues.

Anthony Volpe - New York Yankees

Volpe is up 3.2% so far today, and he's rostered in 6.29% of leagues overall now.

He was recalled from the minor leagues on Thursday, and had a monster showing in his first game back. Volpe had three hits, including a grand slam. He drove in five runs, stole a base and scored once.

Across 57 games and 198 plate appearances this season, Volpe has .251 average and .333 OBP. He's got 44 hits, including nine doubles, two homers and a triple, plus 24 RBIs, 21 runs scored, 22 walks, eight stolen bases and 45 strikeouts.

He's eligible at shortstop for now, and could pick up second base eligibility soon because that's where he's going to play with Jazz Chisholm Jr. out with an injury. Add him in some deeper leagues and be ready to add him in some standard leagues if he keeps hitting like he did on Thursday.

Christian Koss - San Francisco Giants

Koss is only owned in 3.7% of leagues at the moment. He's risen over the past couple days. 

He's been red hot in August, collecting 11 hits and two walks. Koss has three homers among the hits, plus five RBIs, 10 runs scored, a stolen base and three strikeouts.

Koss has played in 55 games and gotten 167 plate appearances this season, and he's posted a .227 average and .270 OBP. He has nine RBIs, 22 runs scored, three stolen bases and seven walks, along with 40 strikeouts. Koss has 35 hits, including five doubles and nine home runs.

Koss has played all over the infield, so that position eligibility bumps his fantasy value up some. He's still just worth deep-league fantasy adds, but he is rising, so consider utilizing him until he cools off some.

Chase DeLauter - Cleveland Guardians

DeLauter is on the rise again, and sits at 79.87% overall. 

He returned to the lineup for the first time in a few days, and he homered among his two hits. DeLauter had two RBIs and a run scored. This month, he's got a .348 average and .375 OBP over six games and 24 plate appearances.

DeLauter has played in 121 games, getting 504 plate appearances this year. He has a .296 average and .365 OBP, plus 62 RBIs, 57 runs scored, 10 stolen bases, 51 walks and 74 strikeouts. DeLauter has 133 total hits, including 28 doubles, 14 homers and three triples. 

The outfielder has been a pretty solid fantasy asset this season, so when healthy, he's worth utilizing. Keep close tabs on his production and only utilize him when he's hitting well down the stretch.

Kody Clemens - Minnesota Twins

Clemens is rostered in 64.15% of leagues right now. He's risen about 2% over the past couple days.

He has a hit in three straight games, and homers in back-to-back contests. Clemens has three RBIs, two runs scored, two walks and three strikeouts over that span.

Clemens is enjoying his best season in the big leagues. He has a .241 average and .302 OBP across 129 games and 522 plate appearances, plus has 74 RBIs, 68 runs scored, 36 walks, eight stolen bases and 117 strikeouts. Among his 114 knocks, Clemens has 26 home runs, 21 doubles and six triples.

He can play several positions, so that bumps his fantasy value up. If you are in need of a first or second baseman, or outfielder, or just a versatile hitter down the stretch, consider adding Clemens in any league type, especially when his bat is hot.
