Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire: 5 Players to Add, Including Marshall and Flemings
Looking for another fantasy basketball contributor? These five players could be worth adding or monitoring.
Let's put together one final fantasy basketball waiver wire article in the third week of the NBA regular season!
We covered adds and drops on Monday, adds on Tuesday and Thursday and drops on Wednesday. We won't cover any of the players we covered in any of those add stories.
Fantasy basketball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Kingston Flemings - Atlanta Hawks
Flemings is rostered in 26.65% of fantasy leagues right now, which is up from 9.74% two days ago.
He got his first start of the season in his last appearance, but logged just 23 minutes in that contest. Flemings is averaging 20.8 minutes over his eight games played overall.
The rookie is averaging 8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks per contest. He's shown some promise early on, and if he keeps starting, his value could keep rising.

Flemings will need to produce more when on the court to be worth more fantasy ownership/usage though. He's addable in some deeper leagues today, but all fantasy owners need to be keeping tabs on him in case he ever takes off.
Mario Hezonja - Cleveland Cavaliers
Hezonja is owned in 14.32% of leagues, after sitting at 2.87% on November 2.
He's come off the bench for all eight games he's played. Hezonja was between 14-20 minutes in his first five contests, but has jumped to 20, 22 and 26 minutes over the past three.
Hezonja is averaging 8.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.1 blocks over 19.6 minutes a night overall. He's producing enough at that playing time, so if he can log a few more minutes, there's more reason to be rostering him in fantasy leagues.
Add him in some deeper leagues today. He'd likely only work into standard leagues if he becomes a starter for the Cavs, so keep tabs on that.
Naji Marshall - Dallas Mavericks
Marshall is up to 46.12% rostered, which is lower than the 63.25% mark he was at on October 25, but also up from 32.21% back on the first of this month.
He's made one start across five total appearances this season. Marshall is averaging 26.6 minutes, along with 13.6 points, 5.4 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.2 blocks per game.
There's enough in those averages for some deep-league usage, for sure. He's coming off a 22-point showing, which is another reason why he's rising. If those numbers keep up, he's worth some standard league spots too.
I think Marshall will settle in as a better deep-league option though. He could be streamed in some standard leagues, but him coming off the bench is likely to lead to inconsistent fantasy outings.
Saddiq Bey - New Orleans Pelicans
Bey is sitting at 64.69% rostered at the moment. He was at 45.67% back on November 1.
Bey has come off the bench for all eight games so far, but is averaging 26.6 minutes a night, which is more than enough time to be a worthwhile fantasy asset. He's averaging 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.1 blocks as well.
There's enough in those averages to make him worth rostering in a good amount of fantasy leagues. Again though, his bench role means he's a better standard league streaming option, not one to consistently expect to deliver off the bench.
So while he can be added and streamed in standard leagues, I think his own percentage is about as high as it should be right now. If he lands a starting role or plays a bit more, there's a chance he becomes a standard league option permanently.
Kenrich Williams - Oklahoma City Thunder
Williams is owned in 9.07% of leagues, which is up from 1.75% on October 30.
Williams has started five of the team's eight games, but is averaging just 17.8 minutes a night. He logged between 5-7 minutes in his three games off the bench and has been between 16-31 minutes in his starts.
Since those marks are so drastically different, let's look at his averages for his starts. Over 24.4 minutes a game, he's averaging 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.2 steals and blocks.
There's a little fantasy value in there, but just enough for deep-league pickups today. He can be skipped in standard leagues, and that might remain the case all season. Utilize him in some deeper leagues as long as he's starting and playing a healthy amount of minutes though.
