Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds: Dillon Brooks, Draymond Green, and More
Several players are seeing their roster percentages rise, but which ones are worth adding to your fantasy basketball team?
Let's discuss some more fantasy basketball waiver wire options in the third week of NBA regular season play!
We covered some possible waiver adds on Monday and Tuesday, then went over some drop candidates on Wednesday.
Fantasy basketball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Oso Ighodaro and Dillon Brooks - Phoenix Suns
Ighodaro is rostered in 25.17% of fantasy leagues right now. He was below 14% back on October 30. Brooks sits at 76.67% rostered, after being at 55.61% on October 27.
Ighodaro missed a couple of games early in the season, but he's now played in three straight and is starting to produce a bit better. He has eight or more points in all but one of his four games played overall, and Ighodaro has filled the stat sheet otherwise.
Along with 33 points scored so far, Ighodaro has 21 rebounds, 17 assists and four blocks. He's coming off the bench, but has logged between 20-34 minutes in the past three contests.
That's enough playing time to make him a worthwhile fantasy asset, and it makes him addable in deeper leagues today. He'd need to likely play and produce more to ever work into standard leagues, but he is a pretty solid deep-league option, so it's fair to see him rising today.
As for Brooks, he's started all six of the team's games, logging between 20-35 minutes - only twice has he not reached 30 minutes. He's scored in double figures in each game, and has 99 points overall.

Brooks also has 26 rebounds, 18 assists, five steals and one block, so he's doing more than just scoring. He's got a healthy enough role to produce solid fantasy results, and he's doing that of late.
Brooks is a really good deep-league asset, and he's worth standard league adds and utilization when he's producing at this level. Add and utilize him in any leagues until his production dips - he could stick as a solid fantasy asset all season.
Charles Bassey and Draymond Green - Golden State Warriors
Bassey has jumped to 8.78% owned, after being under 1% until November 2. Green sits at 42.26%, after being at 36.16% on October 30.
Bassey has appeared in six of the Warriors' eight games so far. He wasn't getting on the court much in October, but has seen an uptick in playing time in the team's first two November games.
Bassey has 25 points, 18 rebounds, three assists and one steal and block across his past two appearances. He logged nearly 20 minutes in a start, then played nearly 23 minutes off the bench in the team's last game.
There are some injuries that the Warriors are dealing with that are helping Bassey's fantasy cause, with Gui Santos' ailment being the biggest deal right now. Whatever the case might be, Bassey is playing and delivering more, and that makes him worth adding in some deeper leagues. Be watching his stats closely and be ready to move off him when/if his role decreases ever.
Green has missed a couple of games this season, but returned to the court in the team's last appearance. He played just 17 minutes before getting ejected for an altercation with Brooks.
The bigger thing is that Green was back on the court. Even though he's past his prime, he's still able to fill the stat sheet and provide some fantasy value. He has 19 points, 30 rebounds, 38 assists and five blocks and steals over six games so far.
Green is a better deep-league asset at this point in his career, and I don't see him ever rising to the level of a standard league asset, aside from the occasional streaming add. Add and utilize the forward in some deeper leagues, but look elsewhere for help in standard leagues.
Tristan da Silva - Orlando Magic
Da Silva is rostered in 49.42% of fantasy leagues right now. He was at just 9.57% back on October 24, and was barely owned when the season got started.
He's taken advantage of extra playing time while a few notable players deal with injuries. Da Silva has come off the bench for all seven games, but is averaging 29.4 minutes a night.
He's also averaging 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.4 blocks and 0.3 steals. There's some fantasy value in there, but probably just deep-league appeal.
He's worth adding and utilizing in deeper leagues for as long as he's playing and producing enough. Da Silva could be worth streaming in some standard leagues as well, but he's unlikely to stick as a long-term option because of his bench role and inconsistent fantasy outings.
