Tyler Allgeier - Arizona Cardinals
Allgeier is rostered in 62.12% of leagues right now, but that should rise significantly before Week 9.

He went off in Week 8, rushing for 147 yards and a touchdown across 11 attempts. Allgeier also caught all five of his targets for an additional 44 yards and a score.
It was a big game for the veteran back, and his role could remain high with Jeremiyah Love and Bam Knight getting injured in Week 8.
Allgeier is worth adding in most leagues with the backfield up in the air. There's a chance Allgeier leads the way for a bit, and that would mean he's owned in all fantasy leagues and worth starting in most of them too.
Emmett Johnson - Kansas City Chiefs
Johnson is only owned in 22.98% of leagues at the moment. That should rise a bit after he had a good fantasy performance in Week 8.
Johnson only got one rushing attempt this week, gaining 15 yards, but it was his work in the passing game that has him on the rise. He caught all five of his targets for 128 yards and a touchdown.
After the Chiefs lost a couple of games in a row, they could choose to get the rookie Johnson a bit more involved going forward. Even if he's a clear RB2 behind Kenneth Walker, there's room on this offense for Johnson to carve out a notable role.
He's worth adding in some deeper leagues before Week 9 as a result. Johnson could even be considered as a standard league streaming option if the matchups are favorable going forward, so keep him in mind.
Seth McGowan and DJ Giddens - Indianapolis Colts
McGowan is up to 52.15% rostered as fantasy owners prepare for a possible Jonathan Taylor trade. Giddens is another back on the roster, and he's sitting at just 0.63% rostered right now.
McGowan has been somewhat involved in his rookie year, getting 37 attempts over eight games so far. He had five rushes for 29 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to Jacksonville.
Giddens appeared in his first game on Sunday, getting six rushing attempts and gaining 43 yards.
If Taylor is traded away soon, the backfield could be split between McGowan and Giddens. It appears that McGowan would have the best chance of leading the backfield, so he's the better pickup right now. Actual production on the field moving forward will determine which Indy back is the better fantasy asset.
McGowan is worth adding in all deeper leagues for sure, and he could work into some standard leagues as well, especially for those lacking at RB. Giddens is worth some deep-league adds going into Week 9.
We can cover things in depth if Taylor does get dealt away, but for now, we are just speculating.
Mike Washington - Las Vegas Raiders
Washington is rostered in 27.69% of fantasy leagues at the moment, but should rise a bit before Week 9.
He led the team's backfield in Week 8, rushing 25 times for 83 yards - he wasn't targeted in the passing game. Washington has 65 rushing attempts on the season, while catching half of his six targets.
Ashton Jeanty is supposed to be the workhorse back in Vegas, but he only got two rushing attempts this past week. He still was a fantasy asset after catching three of his four targets for 64 yards.
Washington is definitely on the rise after what occurred in the team's last game, but I'm not banking on that kind of production the rest of the season. He's worth adding in a lot of leagues just in case it continues, but I believe Jeanty will still be the RB1 for the team and leading the team most weeks.
Dylan Sampson - Cleveland Browns
Sampson is sitting at 23.3% rostered right now - he's been trending up over the past week or so, and should climb even higher before Week 9.
Sampson was another back with just one rushing attempt in Week 8, with it going for seven yards. He caught six of his eight targets for 62 yards to post a solid fantasy score though.
He has just seven carries across his three games played this season, but appears to be carving out a notable role in the passing game. Sampson has nine receptions for 95 yards across 11 targets the past two weeks.
Cleveland is looking for playmakers to step up, and even though the running back hasn't been super involved on the ground, he could be worth fantasy utilization based on what he's doing in the pass game.
He's worth adding in some more deeper leagues today, and he could start in a lot of those leagues for the time being. Sampson is a low-level streaming option in standard leagues, but consistent production could get him into those leagues too.
Be watching for favorable matchups, or an injury to Quinshon Judkins, and Sampson could be worth starting in all fantasy leagues on some weeks.
Kaelon Black - San Francisco 49ers
Black was at 42.63% rostered for Week 8 games, but he also was on a bye. He could climb a bit before Week 9, especially if Christian McCaffrey is banged up or out.
He was off in Week 8, but should still trend up with CMC dealing with an injury right now. The bye week helped McCaffrey's cause, but Black should be a bit more involved as the Niners look to keep CMC fresh and healthy.
Black had 12 rushing attempts for 63 yards and a score in his last game - he added a catch across three targets, but it went backward four yards. He's been somewhat involved in each game, but the team limiting McCaffrey a bit could give the rookie more fantasy upside.
He's worth adding in all deeper leagues before Week 9 games kick off. Be keeping close tabs on McCaffrey's status, as Black could jump close to 100% owned if the starter is banged up or eventually ruled out.
