Should You Start Omar Cooper?
Cooper is the wide receiver in the most trending decisions on the FantasySP start/sit tool right now, so we'll discuss him first. He's part of decisions with Washington's Stefon Diggs, New England's A.J. Brown and Pittsburgh's Germie Bernard.

Cooper has come on strong over the past couple of weeks and has certainly grabbed everyone's attention with his play and production. He has a pretty average fantasy test coming against the Raiders in Week 8.
I ranked Cooper 29th in my Week 8 fantasy WR rankings, so he's a starting option in all leagues, but probably is a bit better deep-league option, especially while being WR2 to Garrett Wilson for the Jets.
Diggs is barely preferred over Cooper, with both wide receivers starting in 43.02% of leagues. I like Diggs as a fantasy asset this week, as he has a super favorable matchup against Philadelphia. He's also likely to be his team's WR1 with Terry McLaurin now out.
I have Diggs ranked 23rd, so I like him by a little bit over Cooper. So I'm also choosing Diggs over Cooper, but wouldn't mind starting both together, depending on all my options.
Brown is the preferred starting option over Boston in Week 8 - both WRs are started together in 44.94% of leagues. Brown returned from injury a few weeks ago, but hasn't gotten back on track yet. He has a tough fantasy matchup on paper against Miami, but in the winnable game, I'm not too worried about Brown.
I have him as my WR14 in my Week 8 rankings, so I like him considerably over Cooper. I understand why there's a debate because of each player's recent production, but I'm taking the WR1 over the WR2 here.
Cooper is the preferred fantasy starter over Bernard, with both wideouts starting in 32.81% of leagues. Bernard has a slightly above-average matchup against the Browns in Week 8. He regressed a bit in Week 7 after back-to-back big fantasy showings.
I did not rank Bernard in my top 30 this week, but he barely missed the cut, so he's just behind Cooper in my eyes. It's really a toss-up between them, but I went with the wideout who delivered last week, and that's Cooper.
Should You Start Denzel Boston or KC Concepcion?
Cleveland's Boston and Concepcion are a couple of wideouts in multiple decisions, so we'll cover them to finish up this article.
They will be taking on the Steelers in Week 8. That's a slightly below-average matchup, but nothing too daunting. Boston hasn't done much the past couple of weeks, but he has 42 targets on the season. Concepcion erupted in Week 7, catching eight of his 10 targets for 129 yards. He has 45 targets on the season.
So while Concepcion seems like the better option, it's actually Boston who made my top-30 rankings, coming in 26th. I like his entire body of work over Concepcion, and that's the biggest reason why I chose Boston to appear in the rankings, although it's very, very close.
Fantasy owners are torn on who to start, but Boston has an ever-so-slight edge right now. Both wideouts are starting together 24.53% of the time - I'd only like doing that in deeper leagues.
Again, it's very close between those two, but I'll take Boston at least for Week 8. Concepcion could change my mind going into future games if he leads the way again this week.
Boston is in trending decisions with Las Vegas' Tre Tucker and Miami's Caleb Douglas.
Tucker is preferred over Boston, with both wideouts starting together 32.89% of the time. I have Tucker ranked 27th this week going into a below-average matchup against the Jets. He's been really good over the past two weeks, so he's a better starting option this week. I still prefer Boston, but it's truly a toss-up between those two in my eyes.
Boston is heavily preferred over Douglas, with both players starting in 18.18% of leagues. Douglas does not appear in my top-30 rankings, but he wasn't far off the list either. He has a slightly above-average matchup against the Patriots in Week 8.
Douglas returned to the field and caught two touchdowns in Week 7, but that's not something to bank on, but it makes him a flex-level option this week. I just trust Boston a bit more at this juncture of the season.
Concepcion is part of a trending decision with New England's Brown. Brown is the heavily preferred starting wideout, with both guys starting together in 38.71% of leagues. I like Concepcion, but between him and Brown, it's always going to be Brown for me, even with the Pats' wideout struggling a bit of late. Only take Concepcion over Brown if the New England wideout will be limited in any fashion.
