Fantasy Football Week 8 Wide Receiver Rankings: Can Zay Flowers Deliver Big?
From elite fantasy stars to potential breakout performers, here are the top-30 wideouts for Week 8.
Let's continue ranking fantasy football players for Week 8 by discussing wide receivers here!
We went over quarterbacks and tight ends on Wednesday, and will cover running backs in a story to come, so check back soon for that!

JSN lands the No. 1 spot for Week 8, and I might not take him out of that slot for the rest of the season if he keeps delivering, regardless of his matchup.
Smith-Njigba has a below-average test coming against the Bears, but I still expect the Seattle superstar to post a monster fantasy score.
2. Puka Nacua
Nacua has a below-average matchup as well, but I'm still going to trust him to get the job done.
Connect your league to uncover strengths & weaknesses, waiver assistance, trade scenarios, and get instant start/sit clarity.
Expect him to get to big fantasy point totals for as long as Davante Adams is out on a big volume of targets alone.
3. CeeDee Lamb
Lamb has a slightly above-average test coming against the Cardinals, so he's set up well in Week 8.
Lamb is capable of scoring the most fantasy points, but landing the No. 3 spot has more to do with the two guys ahead of him than Lamb and his actual play.
4. Zay Flowers
Flowers jumps all the way to No. 4 for the best fantasy matchup a wideout could have.
He takes on the Bills, who have struggled mightily to stop wide receivers so far. If Lamar Jackson is back, Flowers could end up with the top fantasy WR score in Week 8, but I still have him as a top-five option if Jackson is out again.
Chase has a favorable matchup coming against the Titans, so he should be in store for a big showing.
He's not had a monster outing yet, and this matchup could lead to exactly that, so we'll see if Chase posts some season highs this week.
St. Brown has a brutal matchup against the Vikings, but I still believe in him enough to take him sixth.
Fantasy owners should just temper expectations with ARSB a bit.
In that same Lions-Vikings game, Jefferson has a stellar matchup against Detroit.
I want to rank Jefferson higher, but he and the Vikings' offense just haven't put it all together yet. Jefferson is a must-start fantasy asset every week, and you can expect huge things from him in Week 8.
8. Drake London
London has a below-average test coming against the Buccaneers in Week 8.
London has delivered enough in all matchups to trust even in tougher tests. We'll see if he can remain a top-10 fantasy wideout this week.
I like Washington to land in the top 10, despite a below-average test coming against the Colts.
He's served as the Jaguars' WR1 more often than not, and I think the matchup and game flow will lead to a big outing for the wideout.
10. Christian Watson
Watson has a below-average matchup as well, but I still have him rounding out my top 10.
He's been overtaken by a teammate of late (more on him soon), but I see Watson leading the way in the team's Thursday night game.
11. DeVonta Smith
Smith has a very favorable matchup coming against Washington, so he could shine if he's active.
He missed last week's game, and his status for Week 8 is up in the air. Let's hope he plays, as he's a must-start player in this matchup.
12. Tee Higgins
The favorable matchup against Tennessee means Higgins ranks highly as well this week for Cincy.
He's been a good fantasy asset in all but one game, and coming off his best outing yet, I'd be starting Higgins in all leagues in Week 8.
McMillan and the Panthers' offense are hoping to bounce back in Week 8, and a favorable WR matchup against the Packers means McMillan could shine.
He's been the team's WR1, and I see him delivering a top-15 fantasy wideout score in Week 8.
14. A.J. Brown
We are still waiting for Brown to break out following his return from injury, and maybe it comes in Week 8, after a mini bye.
Miami is a tough test on paper, but in a game New England should control, I expect Brown to deliver a solid fantasy score.
15. George Pickens
The above-average matchup against Arizona means we already have our second Dallas wideout in these rankings.
Pickens is capable of going off in any game, and in a favorable test, he should be starting in most leagues in Week 8.
16. Matthew Golden
Golden is battling a couple of injuries and is questionable for Thursday's game, so be watching his status.
If he plays, he should be starting in most leagues, even with a below-average test against the Panthers being his matchup.
17. Garrett Wilson
Wilson has a pretty average test coming against the Raiders in Week 8.
He's been the top wideout for New York, even with a teammate emerging (more on him later), so he's trustworthy enough to start in most leagues.
18. Michael Wilson
This Wilson has an above-average matchup coming against the Cowboys.
Wilson has been a bit disappointing the past several weeks, but I think he gets back on track in this favorable matchup.
19. Jalen Coker
With the Packers being an above-average matchup for wideouts, a second Carolina wideout makes the top 20.
Coker is capable of going off too, but after a down outing last week, fantasy owners will be a bit more skeptical of trying him. The matchup says to believe in the young receiver, and that's what I'm doing here.
20. D.J. Moore
Moore could return to the field, and if he does, he'll have a favorable matchup against the Ravens.
In what could be a high-scoring game, I see the veteran Moore putting together a solid fantasy showing.
21. Luther Burden
Burden has been trending up of late, but this is as high as I could rank him due to his matchup.
He faces Seattle, which allows the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers so far. Be cautious with Burden, and maybe even skip him if you have other good options this week.
22. Emeka Egbuka
He missed Week 7, so Egbuka's status needs to be monitored going into Week 8.
Atlanta is a favorable matchup for the Tampa Bay wideout, so if he's active, he should be starting in most leagues.
23. Stefon Diggs
Diggs has a chance to go off in Week 8 against Philly, which is the second-most favorable fantasy matchup a wideout could have.
Diggs doesn't have to deal with Terry McLaurin anymore, so Diggs should be starting in a bunch of leagues in Week 8.
24. Rashee Rice
Rice is another wideout dealing with an injury, so be watching his status.
If he plays, he has a tougher test against Denver, so he's a better flex-level option for Week 8.
25. DK Metcalf
Metcalf has had a couple of nice fantasy showings this season, and another could be coming in Week 8.
He has a slightly above-average test against the Browns, so look for the wideout to perform at a flex level, or more.
26. Denzel Boston
In that same Steelers-Browns game, Boston is a fantasy wideout to consider.
His matchup is slightly below average, but nothing too daunting. The Browns' wideout is worth some starts in Week 8 as a result.
27. Tre Tucker
Tucker is on a heater, so I'm giving him a top-30 ranking for Week 8.
He has a slightly below-average test against the Jets. With how Tucker has performed of late, I think he's capable of finishing 27th among wideouts, at least, this week.
28. Jordan Addison
Addison is the second Viking in the rankings heading into that favorable test against the Lions.
If he were more involved, I'd have ranked him much higher, but he's just been too inconsistent to rank any higher than this.
29. Omar Cooper Jr.
I'm giving Cooper a spot in the top 30 as well. He plays second fiddle to Wilson for the Jets.
Cooper has performed well of late, and the pretty average test against the Raiders is good enough to expect a top-30 fantasy finish in Week 8.
30. Carnell Tate
I'll give Tate the No. 30 ranking for Week 8.
His matchup against the Bengals is slightly below average, but with the rookie trending up of late, I have no issues starting him this week.
