Poised for Prominent Target Volume as Philadelphia's Top Receiver

DeVonta Smith enters the 2026 season firmly established as Philadelphia’s primary passing target alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts. With complementary pass catchers like Dontayvion Wicks and tight end Dallas Goedert demanding defensive attention across the field, Smith is positioned to dominate boundary routes and command substantial weekly volume throughout the offense.

Coming off an 83-reception, 1,097-yard campaign in 2025, our season projections forecast a productive year featuring 93 catches, 1,150 receiving yards, and six touchdowns. Although a mild hamstring injury briefly interrupted his training camp, his mid-August return to practice indicates he will be fully prepared for Week 1.
