Locked-In WR1 Primed for Massive Target Share

Nico Collins enters the 2026 season firmly entrenched as C.J. Stroud's go-to weapon in Houston's passing attack. After posting three consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns, including 1,172 yards on 74 receptions in 2025, he continues to profile as one of the NFL's most efficient per-route separators.

Our projections forecast a career-high volume season, slating Collins for 95 receptions on 136 targets for 1,250 yards and 7 touchdowns (251.0 PPR points). Houston reinforced his primary role with an offseason contract adjustment, and while he was limited in summer workouts, it was simply maintenance to ensure full health for training camp.

Draft momentum remains rock solid, with Collins consistently coming off boards near pick 24. Fantasy managers view him as an undisputed weekly starter, and our data suggests drafting him at the second-round turn represents tremendous value for a receiver with legitimate top-five upside.
