Entering a Critical Year 3 After Offseason Transformation and Declining Fantasy Market Value

Xavier Legette enters his third NFL season with plenty to prove after a disappointing sophomore slump. In 2025, Legette's numbers regressed to just 393 yards and three touchdowns. Despite being listed as a starting outside receiver opposite rookie Tetairoa McMillan, our models project a very limited role with only 24 receptions for 279 yards and two scores.

The young wideout has acknowledged his struggles, openly stating he must avoid another mistake-plagued season. Offseason conditioning updates have been mixed; after early video criticism, June reports highlighted a leaner, healthier Legette entering training camp in peak physical shape.

This volatility has caused his draft stock to plummet, with his ADP collapsing from the mid-300s in June to nearly off the board at 637. While his roster percentage has dipped to 9%, our projections suggest he remains a low-upside flyer rather than a draft-day steal.
