Five players are seeing their fantasy basketball roster percentages rise as the NBA season gets rolling.

Let's look at another round of fantasy basketball waiver wire options in the second week of the NBA regular season.

Here are some waiver targets we covered from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, plus a few drop candidates in there. We'll cover some drops tomorrow, so check back for that!

Fantasy basketball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP! Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest-of-season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.

Robert Williams III and Jrue Holiday - Portland Trail Blazers

Williams is rostered in 28.24% of fantasy basketball leagues right now - he was at 7.38% just three days ago. Holiday is sitting at 67.36% after being at 51.37% three days ago.

He has played in all three of the team's games so far, coming off the bench and playing between 15-21 minutes. Williams had just two points in the first game, but has tallied 13 and 14 in the past two contests. He has 26 rebounds, three blocks and two steals and assists as well, so between scoring and rebounding, he's got some fantasy appeal.

Portland isn't dealing with any injuries to significant big men, so Williams' role and production seem sustainable at this point. He is a better deep-league asset for the time being, but if he ever were to get starts or play more, he could be worth standard league usage.

Holiday has come off the bench in all three games as well, but logged 20, 26 and 29 minutes, so he has standard league appeal. He tallied eight points in the first game before tallying 12 in the second - Holiday went for 22 points in the team's most recent game. He has 12 assists, 10 rebounds, four steals and a block as well, so he's a pretty well-rounded player.

Coming off the bench, his fantasy production might be a bit inconsistent, but if he's playing enough, he's at least worth standard league streams. I like him better as a deep-league asset, but those in a pinch could utilize Holiday in 2026-27.

De'Andre Hunter - Sacramento Kings

Hunter has jumped to 17.62% owned, after being at 6.28% three days ago.

Hunter has started the first four games for Sacramento, but has been between 19-32 minutes of playing time. He had 17 points, 16 rebounds and three assists across the first three games combined before erupting for 24 points, six rebounds, two assists and one block and steal in his last appearance.

It's good to see his numbers improve, but injuries around him helped his cause. Sacramento has been, and will be, without Ben Simmons all season, and Keegan Murray, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell are all out too. That opens minutes and production for Hunter, and he took advantage in his most recent game.

Hunter could remain a really solid fantasy asset while all those players are out, so he has streaming appeal right now. He's one to consider adding in all leagues, but with his role and production likely to fall in time, I like adding him in deeper leagues only. I'd only consider adding him in a standard league for a couple of days, and if I had a roster spot already open.

Pelle Larsson - Miami Heat

Larsson is owned in 25.91% of leagues - he was rostered in 10.72% of leagues only five days ago.

Larsson is coming off the bench for Miami, but he's logged between 23-36 minutes, so he's playing enough every night to be worth more fantasy usage. He tallied nine points in the first two games combined, but has gone for 15, 12 and 17 points over the past three contests. He's added 21 assists, 18 rebounds, seven steals and a block, so he's doing more than just scoring.

I'd rather he be starting, as then his production could be more consistent, but Larsson has a solidified role off the bench, and it's giving him waiver wire appeal today. He's a better deep-league asset for now, but he has streaming appeal in standard leagues.

Keep close tabs on his role and production and add/drop him as those numbers dictate all season.

Kingston Flemings - Atlanta Hawks

Flemings is sitting at 10.1% right now. He was at just 3.21% two days ago.

The rookie had a breakout game on Wednesday, tallying 23 points, five rebounds and assists and one steal and block across 28 minutes off the bench. Flemings has come off the bench for all five of the team's games so far. He's averaging 20.2 minutes, 7.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 0.4 steals and blocks per game so far.

He's a highly-regarded player after being the No. 8 pick in the most recent draft. It's good to see him finding his footing early on, but until he's starting, his role and production could vary.

Flemings is one to add in deeper leagues today, but watch for possibly adding in all leagues down the line. If CJ McCollum is ever out for an extended period, Flemings should become addable in all standard leagues, so keep an eye out for that.
