Sophomore Surge Looms as Packers Clear Path for Major Role
Golden steps into his second NFL season in prime position after Green Bay cleared out receiver depth this offseason. Coaching staff members have praised his refined route running and maturity throughout training camp, cementing his role on the perimeter alongside Christian Watson and Jayden Reed.
After tallying 33 receptions for 445 yards as a rookie, our projections forecast a sizable sophomore leap to 58 catches, 770 yards, and four touchdowns on 85 targets. With Jordan Love under center, Golden provides reliable boundary playmaking with room for red-zone growth.
In 1.0 PPR formats, his draft trajectory has drifted from the early 120s down toward an ADP near 167, even while his roster rate climbed to 92%. Our projections see this shifting market price as a value opportunity for a player primed to break out.
